Man they really gotta stop recording the sound of the voice and the mic voice when people are using pitch correct. It’s too obvious. They could fix it by just filming it soundless and using the guitar and mic sound.
I say to cut him a break. He's young and succumbed to all the temptations around him. Hopefully, he grow out if it. Guns n Roses did that to their fans for years!
