As someone who struggles with depression and who isolates myself from friends and loved ones when I’m sad, I really relate to this song
I'm the same way my fiance is always trying to help me out with it. I feel like I'm hard to love. I struggle with my depression anxiety and autism. Sometimes being hard to love is a sign that you need more help. I know the struggle with depression its hard on not just you but those who love you and appreciate you. Time to stop closing doors and start opening them up

Found out Kyle Jacobs wrote this!! He just died to suicide today!! He was very talented and it sounds like he struggled with some things.. but appreciated the love he received from Kellie!! So tragic and sad. This is a great song with a powerful message many of us can relate to!! I hate it that he has now lost his life to suicide. The stigma has got to end. We’re losing way too many people!!

There was a guy I really liked last year and I told him this song reminded me a lot of him. Cus we weren’t dating but we would hang out and he would kiss me. But he would put me through a lot. I always tried to just be there for him as a friend, I never tried to force anything. I knew he had his problems, he told me he was emotionally unavailable which i already knew. He ended up telling me he didn’t have any feelings for me so I moved on and the last time i talked to him which was months later he told me i liked him too much.. I never understood how he got to that when I had already moved on. But this song will always remind me of him and I get emotional sometimes listening to it
