Thank you for the video! Would you say with inflation that tech consultant salaries have increased? Also how often did you travel?

@@poketron592 I’m glad you enjoy it and thanks for watching! I would say it hasn’t increased too much for entry levels. I believe entry levels are still roughly $70-80K based on my network this year. I would say depends on projects but I used to travel one week every month (Mon-Thurs)

Im a tech consultant too planning to move to US and this video is exactly what I was looking for.
For american standards you really manage your money well!
Can I ask you what tool did you use to make this awesome viz chart? I have been looking for something like this for my personal finance monitoring!
Also, I'd like to ask what's your strategy to monitor your cash flow and expenses... like, do you use a simple excel, or something else?
    Good video btw :)

Hey Keitas! I’m glad my video was helpful to you and thank you!
I use something called sankeymatic chart for all the viz. As for personal finance, I like to use excel sheets to make it easier to categorize. Hope that helps!

Hey, I received the offer for the same job position. Can you tell me what technical skills did you need to know for the job?

First off congrats on the job offer! Always exciting! I would say it’ll depend on the project. As consultants, you want to be adaptable and a quick learner since you’ll be needing to pick up skills based on your projects in 1-2 weeks time. What this mean is that if your first project is Full Stack Web Dev, you might want to learn the framework that the client is using like react or angular or vue
