I keep going back and forth on getting an Efficient or an Emphasis. Maybe an Astute. Too many. I gave my Native 5 away and just sent a second one to another channel or I'd send one up to you. You and Gary/The Last Ranger have talked me out of getting the BRS Apache and I appreciate that. I was already hesitant because: D2. I just sent a QSP Hawk in that copper CF to another channel. I like the scales and that was about it on that knife. I am finding I am not QSPs biggest fan. Anyway, thanks for the peeks, T. I hope you and the fam have an amazing weekend up there.
The emphasis is the bigger efficient ain't it? The astute is actually a super cool little knife (odd design that kind of works) but Jake From Ohio State got one and it sucked, I got one and it was ok but it was tunable to make good. Haha I'm glad we can help with the brs that's why we do this right? I feel like... they all have a different language to them kthe different brands I mean) cjrb and bestech feel similar to me, civivi feels like a lighter cjrb bestech lol, kizer kansept are similar, and I feel like qsp makes budget Models just because they know they'll sell more than a 200 dollar model sometimes. Their quality is usually top shelf but sometimes their designs under 100 either kill it or swing and miss (just my opinion lol) Have a great weekend brotha! 😀 ill be in sunny Florida for a wedding flying out today woohoo
Yeah do the boker was one that I was super excited for and I think if I was to keep it I can do some stuff to it like take some super fine sandpaper and get rid of some of that chalky feel without really damaging anything stuff like that and make it into an awesome knife because it's it's really a cool everyday carriage it's gonna carry really well and the blade shape is ultra pointy so just like the protect Newport you're gonna have a lot of puncture stuff taken care of the tips gonna be a little weak but other than that it's a pretty sweet pretty sweet peace thanks for watching brother
I usually avoid recurves cause the can be a pain yo sharpen and I love putting my own edge on my blades. However I really like the sand bar. I'd get one in a different handle color cause the greens not for me but other than that it ticks boxes on so many levels.
Hey brother! I'm still watching, just not commenting much these days. I have the original persistence with G-10 handles and it looks like the newer version is an upgrade for sure. I'll take that Caldera any day!

I was actually severely disappointed with that knife I think they have iterations to go but the design is awesome

The Efficient would be my first choice of the bunch. The Boker is interesting with the thumb disk and is my second choice.
