    11:31 here's a really neat one... Michael Bell, the great voice-over talent, in an on-camera appearance for Chevrolet.
    4:45 the legendary Sadaharu Oh on American television!
    7:06 two of the all-time best: Bill Russell and Oscar Robertson.

    Lee Lenonard and Jack Whitaker did the NFL on CBS pregame halftime and post game show on CBS the first time game highlights were shown during the program that actually was the first live studio pregame show before NFL Today premiered in 1975 with Brent Musburger Irv Cross and Phillis George

    Lee Leonard (at the beginning of the video) was the very first face and voice on ESPN when it signed on in 1979.

    At 10:56 is the partial open for The NBC Sunday Mystery Movie "Columbo" along with a sponsor tag for Chevrolet, some commercial breaks, and a Columbo bumper. There is an ad for the NBC Monday Movie "Shamus," which aired 10-28-74, which would make the Columbo episode from 10-27-74, "By Dawn's Early Light" with Patrick McGoohan as a Haig-like head of a military academy.

      ...and, tipoff was at 4:30 PM ET, opposite NBC's second half of an NFL football doubleheader. Imagine that! Yeah, I thought I saw jaws drop!

    74-75 season, CBS first year airing NBA national games. Before this, ABC carried the games.

      oldies geek CBS began doing NBA games in 1973-74 with Pat Summerall calling the games
