    Greetings Kerry from England, I love watching your videos and learning new ways to do beading, you explain everything so well (I love your accent by the way). I was always weary of doing uneven count Peyote because of the 'turn around' , I just could not get my head around it, but the way you explained it, it seems I had a' light bulb' moment and for once it became clear and I can actually do it, I tried the previous turn around where you put the needle under the thread - that worked very well, but this new method is even better. Thank you so much for being such a great teacher, I'm an OAP but I'm always learning new things in the beading department, it not only keeps my mind active (not so much my body) but it's also great therapy. I look forward to seeing more videos and trying new projects. Many thanks and have a Great Day😊🌼💐

    Hi Kelly. Thanks for the new technique. I've tried several for odd-count and dislike them all frankly. ☹️ However, I recently purchased a pattern from Holly Gordon at HG Bead Designs, and learned another interesting method - you leave off one entire side row, do the project in even-count, and then brick stitch that missing row onto the side when you've completed the length! This works especially well with a pattern that has a solid border row of course. Although, I would like to hear more about this two needle method that Jeni10 described! 🤔

    Hi there. I as hoping to get some help starting the pattern for you Elaine bracelet, it’s my understanding that I start by adding rows 1&2 but that’s a total of 25 beads and the next town is only like 14 so I am confused. I must be missing a step somewhere lol any help anyone can give me would be much appreciated.

    • @offthebeadedpath
      @offthebeadedpath  2 года назад +1

      The pattern is odd count peyote not even count. You may want to brush up on your odd count techniques before starting this bracelet. I have quite a few videos with odd count on my channel.

  • @petrinafolsom4376
    @petrinafolsom4376 2 года назад

    The Elaine bracelet patter on your website is odd count? Row one&two is 25 beads.. this is where I am having the issue because the 3rd row is only like 14 so I feel like I’m missing a step when starting. Anyone have any insight on this?

    • @offthebeadedpath
      @offthebeadedpath  2 года назад

      Yes. 25 beads is an odd number which means the stitch is odd count. You have to do this bracelet in odd count peyote.
