For bead weaving, I prefer Wildfire and Fireline. For this particular project I used Fireline 4lb weight. Here is a link to all the supplies including the thread beadaholique.com/collections/beading-projects/products/kauai-bracelet
Or.... go thru the " bead below" and the diagonal bead in a down direction, back thru bead above that bead back towards the edge and thru the bead you originally went thru (" bead below"), then you are at the edge ready to go thru your dropped bead the correct way.

I started adding that bead in like I was working ladder stitch and that seems to work as well
