I'm glad my Dad didn't get to be a police officer when I was 2 years old because if he was killed in the line of duty I'd be heartbroken and start crying.
It’s been 28 years since this happened so Tony is 59 now. When I saw him get shot, it scared the daylights out of me. I found out 25 years after this happened, Tony retired from police work. He can never give his comrades enough thanks. I’m sure this is something he’ll tell his grandchildren about. This happened on a Wednesday.
Tony Crawford's shooter Brad Ehly is still in a Texas prison serving his life sentence. He became eligible for parole in 2007 but has been denied it ever since.
Today’s the 30th anniversary of when this happened so Tony is 61 now. If he died his daughter Meredith would grow up without her father thank goodness he didn’t.
who does this remind me of... oh wait... me, i am in a wheelchair and also in law enforcement don;t tell me i can't do something because i will prove you wrong every single time
Well no wonder the shooter was a juvenile hall escapee. This time, he was tried as an adult. Life in prison I see. Was he sent to Huntsville like most of the big-time offenders on the TV show "Walker, Texas Ranger"?
@@clertucky1 I do agree its unsafe however the city i live in theres always gun shots and most of the residents see what's going on must be a hood thing lol

Rip to the five Dallas police officers that were killed on July 7, 2016
I respect men and women wearing blue uniforms.

was he not wearing his vest? should have stopped a round there
It dawned on me why didnt neighbors come out after hearing gunshots
The neighbors didnt come out due to the fear that they would become a hostage or victim of the shooter, its very unsafe to go out during shots fired
