hahaha, honestly nothing crazy. I use Archetype Tim Henson for my tones, and I basically used Tim's clean preset and tweaked it a bit to my liking. the compressor and boost in the plugin do help massively 100%, bit of treble boost and that's really it. Not really well versed in tone creation, Tim's plugin came out the box doing the work for me :P

All of this was recorded on that Schecter Hellraiser, using the neck pickup which is a Sustainiac pickup. It's a single coil pickup that you can switch on to sustain any note indefinitely, but also just has a nice sound when played normally
I think he just meant using a hyperpop backing track n then playing polyphia style melodies on the guitar. The bg with the effects and stuff is definitely hyperpop, and i honestly wish polyphia would make songs like this because their bg is typically heavier and with hyperpop style it'd be much lighter and imagine it pause for a few seconds for a couple of effects. it can still make a different kinda vibe! sorry if I can't explain it that well.
