You know...I need to say something to the ungrateful jealous population out there. This visit was a surprise to all involved. This visit was unannounced to these folks. I met him at work, through a family member of his. He was there to play for sick and or dying young patients. My son had just started getting into BB because of a band he started playing in. Ben was grateful enough to offer to go to the house a pay a short visit to these kids on a school night while they were having dinner. Ben wanted it to be a surprise to them. He is a super sweet, outgoing individual that to be a man of his popularity and stature. He was playing that guitar, because it was the one he picked out of about 10 we have. It had thicker strings and was easier to downtune for his songs. He only spent about 15 minutes with these impressionable young men. They will be forever grateful for this visit. I am happy they got to see someone of that caliber, that was down to earth, not stuck up, and willing to spend a few minutes with a bunch of nobodys. Maybe those with negative comments should learn a lesson from someone they hold so dear. Glad Benjamin Burnley was not like you.
Don't pay the slightest attention to those hateful, insensitive and frustrated people. They truly need to learn a couple of lessons from Ben. I truly enjoyed your video and I'm grateful for your upload, as it showed that Ben is the really down to earth and kind guy I always thought he was since I started listening to his band. He strikes me as a guy who truly loves working hard to make great music and loves his fans. A real honest guy and musician. There are not many like him around, his way of doing things is inspiring. Thanks again for your vid, and lucky you for having the chance to meet him!
Forte Loud and Proud I am one of those hateful people you speak of but had it been stated that Ben did this out the goodness of his heart then I would have looked at this video a bit differently. and I do apologize for that. Thanks for posting this video.
Forte Loud and Proud I can only wish I was in BB! :) when I said 'got into' I meant the time I started getting into BB, a.k.a. listening and learning more about their music. Hope someday I get the chance to know the man behind it! Thanks again for the vid!
Wow, Ben is a great person. This video puts a smile on my face. I actually got to play Xbox with him a few years back due to my coworker knowing him. Very lucky to have met him in person on a personal basis. Thanks for sharing this video.
I’d kick his butt on some cod 🤣 I mean I’ve played with FaZe members back in MW2/BO2 days. They were no where near as famous as Ben here... and some how those dudes were always stuck up ass holes. Sooooo idk I’m proud to have found this band years ago. Benjamin has consistently shown so much love for the fans of his and pretty much anyone! Amazing! I wish I could play and keep a consistent vocal fry while singing like him. I have been always fascinated with replicating someone’s sound from multiple genres to no end but his voice is absolutely unique! So it’s for sure hard.
Travis Baker Right?? And who knew that Benjamin was a fan of Disturbed?? He knows Korn!! He just need to publicly say Slipknot somewhere, and I will know for sure that he knows 3 of my favorite metal bands
I am the person in the video that walks down the stairs at 00:19, and i have to say that at the time, I wasn't really deep into his music and barely knew any of his songs, just a few of his hits. Ever since that visit, I have become attached to his music. He is now one of my favorite artists and people in the music industry. It was so generous of him to come over and jam and to meet him, i just wish i knew him then as much as i know him now. Plus, never miss him when he comes around, because he puts on one hell of a show!

This is awesome for these kids to see this. This is a real important part of playing, i have seen so many young bands that don't tune their instruments, its the most important first step, and continues to be all through your years and all levels of playing. What an awesome surprise for you guys!
lucky bastard XD joke I am so jealous, I live in Germany and I am not old enough and don't have enough money to visit Benjamin. I would die to see him. My life will be complete, no joke.
How old are you ?? I'm sorry I just love this band as much of the rest of the people on here do but if you a teen I would love to email you I could talk to you about them for hours XD
What a great video...shows you what a real musician should be like. Just a straight up dude. Definitely the reason I purchased his signature guitar from esp
He must love drop A# because when you see them live he plays a lot of the concert in C and C#. Only using A# for the last 3rd of the set. I hope the new album is all in A#. I bought a baritone just to play BB songs. He could have left that guitar in C and had a lot to play for them.
Unsmile I play Drop C on 10s and it's fine. But I cant go lower than Drop B. Also, Ben doesn't tune to Drop B. But Drop A#, C and C# is the tunings of all their songs.
OMAIGAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMAIGAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU ARE THE LUCKIEST HUMAN IN THE WORLD!!!!! BEN FUCKING BURNLEY VISITED YOU AT YOUR OWN HOME!!!! AND TOUCHED YOUR AMP!!!!!!!!!!
Im like totally fucking smiling this whole time watching n listening literally feeling this kids energy because hes literally just a normal person like anyone else...no one every takes time to just shoot the shit and jam out ..super awesome my dude.💜💚💜💚
Keith was also the lead singer and rhythm guitar player for Knoxville, TN based band Copper, Ben. Get you facts straight hahaha. (I know Adelita's Way is much more famous, but I'm from Knoxville so I saw Keith's band about once a month haha)

I think this was when Breaking Benjamin were on hiatus🤔
No he talks about the band being reformed with 3 guitarists.
7:21 how does ben play the octave so clean without making the guitar sounding messy?
You use your other fingers to mute the rest of the strings (like how you lay them over the strings to make the chicka-chicka sound) that way you can strum and you only hear the octave notes.
You mute the 5th note, (middle note of a three string power chord), etc.
Most people only hit the thicker strings + the higher octave string.
I feel like ben is like a Keanu Reeves of music
I'm late to the party but so glad I got to see this video. It's good to know that my favorite music artist does things like this. Such a stand up guy.

You forget how tall he is until someone stands next to him.
I've been a fan since I can remember, and I have spent most of my life listening to this band. I have always wondered what lies beneath the cameras. Thank you for sharing this amazing footage.
Haha get it "what lies beneath"
started listening when I was 11 or so. Now I'm 24, still listen to em. Ben is great
Thats so Sweet To see how excited they are. This would make my life, lol. Just to watch him play all the songs Ive been listening to for the last 10 plus years
Guitar: How distorted do you want me
*Ben and every 2000s band: YES*
If I were you, I'd send Ben, Rhiannon &Nikki the names & nasty comments made on here. Believe it or not the girls do there best to keep track of the naysayers. After that I'd remove the fools who only bring negativity wherever they go. Good luck & God bless!
This is awesome for these kids to see this. This is a real important part of playing, i have seen so many young bands that don't tune their instruments, its the most important first step, and continues to be all through your years and all levels of playing. What an awesome surprise for you guys!
Ben is such a class act
lucky bastard XD joke
I am so jealous, I live in Germany and I am not old enough and don't have enough money to visit Benjamin. I would die to see him. My life will be complete, no joke.
How old are you ?? I'm sorry I just love this band as much of the rest of the people on here do but if you a teen I would love to email you I could talk to you about them for hours XD
+rachel krats me too i could go at it all night
10:57 IS THAT KORN - BLIND?
Feres Ridha Ben Nasrallah It was holy fuck
This is amazing! I so wish I could Benjamin Brunley in my house
This was amazing.definitely a little jealous.stuff like this doesn't happen every day.
BIG BLUE NATION IS EVERYWHERE!!!!! #BBN
YES! He was in KENTUCKY in this video!
Was this in Lexington? I thought I read somewhere that his gf is from Lex?
Kori Breeding Erlanger, KY
if he showed up to my house I would panic and then pass out
Why is there so much hate please everyone just stop with the negativity.
I liked when Ben Burnley said "it's breaking time" and broke himself
Instant win. That's friggin awesome.
What a great video...shows you what a real musician should be like. Just a straight up dude. Definitely the reason I purchased his signature guitar from esp
Exciting stuff man!
I hope to meet him someday as well!
So glad BB is back!
this is so fucking cool
I'd hug him and never let go!!!!😄😄😄
He must love drop A# because when you see them live he plays a lot of the concert in C and C#. Only using A# for the last 3rd of the set. I hope the new album is all in A#. I bought a baritone just to play BB songs. He could have left that guitar in C and had a lot to play for them.
How, how, HOOOWWWW did you get BEN BURNLEY in your house?!?!?!? Sooooooo envious, man... that woukd truly be my dying wish.... #benfan4life
Holy crap .16s?? I didn't even know they made strings that guage. If he tunes down to drop C though it makes sense
Ben usually tunes to drop A# or B, for drop C tuning 12 is more than enough.
What a honor that a rock legend visited this house
Amazing guy. What a great thing to do Ben, this video was great to watch.
Holy shit wow - what a treat! I hope to see BB live before I die - one of my favorite bands ever.
That man is one of the most precious people in the universe.
Yeah my fríend
Cheers from México df
Im like totally fucking smiling this whole time watching n listening literally feeling this kids energy because hes literally just a normal person like anyone else...no one every takes time to just shoot the shit and jam out ..super awesome my dude.💜💚💜💚
Keith was also the lead singer and rhythm guitar player for Knoxville, TN based band Copper, Ben. Get you facts straight hahaha. (I know Adelita's Way is much more famous, but I'm from Knoxville so I saw Keith's band about once a month haha)
Mammoth slinkys with fix that drop A# tuning 🤘🤘
God i would die if that was me, that is so awesome.
Video should be called Ben tuning.
holllllly fuck like where did they find the one batch of people that don't know the hit songs, don't have facebook, won't fucking jam, like wtf
