Gotta love the spam musubi available at any convenience store :) did you use AA miles to score that flight on JAL? been looking for a decent deal lately and haven't found any!
@@LisaAndJosh yes, we used our AA miles for the JAL flight, and JAL basic economy is better than some premium economy flights we’ve taken so we didn’t mind paying the minimum!
@@HannahandJoeTravel for sure - JAL basic economy is basically business class on budget airlines lol :) thanks for the reply and info!
The chicken looks like Karaage which is not KFC. It is marinated overnight in ginger / soy etc and deep fried. Once done it is usually served on a bed of lettuce leaves with Japanese mayo. It is essential to use chicken thighs to get the juiciest chicken possible and it can become addictive .
Rest assured, we know it’s not KFC. We said “JFC” for Japanese fried chicken, just repeating a little joke we were told as we stopped in for lunch. And to be honest, what you’re describing sounds way better than that chicken we had, which we found decent but pretty bland.
