Typhoons carried only eight rockets and once they were gone, the aircraft was still weighed down by the rails the rockets were mounted on. Even with a clean aircraft, no Typhoon was going to outfly a FW190D.
TYPHOON BECAME A TANK BUSTER, AND GENERAL GROUND ATTACK, LOT OF POWER AT LOW ALTIDUDE, WAS PRIMARLEY GOING TO BE HIGH Altitude FIGHTER, BUT DIDNT PERFORM WELL ENOUGH
That anton had no idea what was coming. An approach from below like that is pretty much impossible to see
Nice ground views of the strafing.

That's why RCAF Typhoons carried bombs. They also felt bombs were a better weapon than rockets.
yeah but the fw was damaged and low energy. typhoon had the advantage there even with the extra weight and drag

Germans didn't have Dora's until mid spring 45.
Nice job soldier . Fun to watch
Battle over Normandy not Battle of Normandy in June no snow.
How can this be 10 months old when Normandy has only been released, or is this a test version? Confused.
They realease the aircraft as they develop them. This is a Normandy plane but it's not the Normandy map or campaign.
@@m0ther_bra1ned12 ah I see, great video tho!
Was this in The arderne region?
The Typhoon was probably more manouvrable after shooting its 500 kg of rockets..........
But not by very much - it still had the rails attached.
