    That looks so badass! Finally I found a video of this mod that did exactly what I want to do! I've done it to a Kawasaki Vulcan custom that had drag bars before but was scared to try it on my fury due to the speedo location. Thanks so much for this video and all the comments with details on past questions. I'm doing this on mine now! Hell yeah!

    Very nice bike. I test rode one yesterday and plan to buy it. Have you ridden it any great distance? If so it comfortable. And do you know the range on a tank of gas..?

    • @mollboy7013
      @mollboy7013  7 лет назад

      I love it but it does have its pros and cons. Ill tell you this if you plan on going a long way then get another seat. That low profile seat looks awesome but after an hour or so you can start feeling it. I use mine for short rides or work and I only take it out for long stuff rarely because I have the stock seat. The tank is a little smaller but you should get a week if youre just commuting on like 7$ in gas. I made a 130 mile ride and I did have to stop and get gas once if that helps at all.

    • @middlemaniv2408
      @middlemaniv2408 7 лет назад

      Wow, Been a minute since I've gotten a comment on this video. I'm glad this video is still being watched! You won't find cable extensions. You'll need to order all new cables and for the wires you can have a shop do it or do it yourself. I remember I did mine myself

    Hi Jacob, Is this what you ordered... 12” Ape Hangers (narrow bottom) Holey Roller Bars part# r6c12n. My conversation with Seth at Road 6 Customs a moment ago gave me concern that I can't order from the website for a Honda Fury. Rather to measure and request they do a custom fabrication. But you didn't indicate in your video anything about that. He told me the knurl spacing is different on metric bikes which is true. It's not exactly 3 1/2" between the center points of the risers. The other topic he mentiioed is the bar diameter. Factory specs show OEM bar is 1 1/4"
    My questions for you are 1) Did you order the bars with any customization or direct from the website? 2) What diameter? 1" or 1 1/4" (extra $150 for that)
    Link to the bars that it appears you purchased... store.road6customs.com/12-Ape-Hangers-narrow-bottom-HOLEY-ROLLER-BARS-r6c12n.htm

      @mollboy7013  6 лет назад

      Aceydubs I did order the bars from road6customs. I just ordered one inch. Honestly once you take everything off it just depends on what risers you buy. I bought one inch risers and 1 inch grips. You'll have to measure yourself for the curling but that's actually easy. Just put your risers on and then just measure the difference. It's actually pretty easy. I'm surprised by now they don't have the specifications for a Honda Fury.

    • @NormanGoesPostal
      @NormanGoesPostal 6 лет назад

      Thanks. I measured the center distance between risers and it is 12cm or 4.72441". I can edit the knurls with a knurling tool.
      One more question... Did you order the throttle-by-wire bars?

    • @mollboy7013
      @mollboy7013  6 лет назад

      Aceydubs no. I just had the wires extended and wrapped then zip tied them to the handlebars. The grips just didn't let the internal wiring happen
