I lost my lighting desk wing thing on the way out of Dortmund to a festival in the UK, they said it would arrive on the next flight in 2 hours, it did not, next day they said at Heathrow it was on its way to Heathrow, but it was still in Dortmund, I arrived back in Dortmund and asked before leaving the airport....its on its way to Heathrow, but it was still in Dortmund and I left Dortmund to drive to Poland. Arriving back in Poland to find out it was and had been always in Dortmund, then it started off its travels to no where near me, then for some reason ended up in Edinburgh on the day I was to travel to the US with it......but the only stroke of luck I had was two band member's flew out of Edinburgh and found it rotating on a carousel in domestic, I was reunited in Boston 10 days after it never came.... I retired and quite happy about it, I like your videos as its reminder of past life.
This sounds like a nightmare! The lost baggage tracking system is pretty bad. They should give you updates everytime it’s scanned at a location really and keep you updated on what they are actually doing for it.
@@RattlinBonesClub Normally stuff goes in big trucks and its only me that gets lost, but I did a couple of bands for 10 years or so, doing flyouts and I got stories, my god. Airtags at least seems a way to give a small ray of hope. Look forward to the next installment
Yeah losing the bag was devastating, so happy I got it back! It was easy enough to update the firmware but the challenge of doing it at a festival site while also trying to set up added stress haha

man, air tags are an absolute necessity if you're gunna be flying gear around! they've saved me several times already!

Nothing worse than a loss bag. Also have the same thing happen to me last year with a Dlive console and rack being on different firmware versions.
