A very beautiful actress who like everyone else got older. So she went on to doing other things instead of living at a plastic surgeon's office. Bravo Bridget!
@@DefundTheFringes Hi Defund, Almost seventy here and I'm kind of in the same boat as Bridget. At a certain point staying thin is almost impossible without constant dieting. At 20, 30, and 40 it might be worth it but as you get older just being healthy is more achievable and important. Just my opinion.
THANK YOU for not including those tacky 2022 and 2023 paparazzi photos. She’s retired, she’s a private citizen and what she looks like and what she’s doing no longer needs to be made public. The lady did terrific work, she deserves her privacy now.
@TheHeartScienceofWealth-w7q I don't think pictures of how she looks today are tacky. That is who she is. It's the public who scrutinizes her weight. I think it would be great to show how she looks and post that she still looks beautiful because she is. If she was still skinny then it would be okay to show pics of her. We need to change how society views what a beautiful person should look like. This is just hiding it because she is not worthy to show anymore.
If those 'tacky' photos are really her? then it's more of a 'What Happened? deal'. Her family in the limelight were slender, so it makes some of us wonder if that is truly Bridget Fonda. That's all. Everyone has their issues on how to stay healthy but still happy.
@@demijour1234 Let me clarify what I meant. She doesn’t look tacky - she looks like who she is and that’s fine, whatever her weight is. It was TACKY for the paparazzi to follow her around years after she’s retired from acting and the public eye and publish them.
It seems she quit after the Miramax film Jackie Brown. I hope Harvey Weinstein wasn’t the reason. She is a phenomenal actress never needing the Fonda last name. Her talent stands on its own.
She never recovered from the trauma of that movie, where she had to bend over a kitchen table and take it up the poop shoot from a disgustingly ugly Robert De Niro. That's enough to scar anybody.

Bridget Fonda had a pretty decent career in my opinion and she retired. You have to remember that she grew up in the business and by the time she stepped out of the limelight she was probably really ready. She's gorgeous, and not trying to be someone or some age she is not. As a third generation Hollywood kid, she would have known how toxic the fakery of tinselftown is, and she made an informed choice to have a private life. Living a life is more important than chasing an image that a fickle public will still pick apart for its flaws. God bless Bridget. I hope she is wonderfully happy, but I also would watch a film with her at her current age. And shame on cruel critics for their excessive unkindness.
She is unrecognizable now because she has gained at least 50-70 lbs since 2010. This is not a criticism; after all, she is a private citizen and doesn't have to live up to "Hollywood" standards. Can’t blame her, plenty of actors and actresses have become disenchanted with Hollywood fame. Plus Bridget being part of the Fonda dynasty probably came with some pressures

SUBSCRIBED!! ALL of the Fondas are great actors, but this Lady here is my ALL-TIME favorite of all of them. In, A Simple Plan, she was fantastic as the brain behind this DUMB local cop played by Bill Paxton. Gary Cole was BLOOD CURDLING in it. In Point Of No Return, nobody brought home the TERROR of being executed like she did. I thank Looper for this, NON-smarmy, NON-gossipy look at her career. ❤ If I could wave a magic wand and bring an actor out of retirement, I would wave it for her.
There would have been no "Allie McBeal" without Calista Flockheart. That being said, I truly admire Bridgette Fonda. I would love to see her do a comeback!
I had the biggest crush on Bridget , especially she was my time time favourite Fonda .I mean outside of her aunt Jane Fonda , and she was so cute in "Singles" like the ultimate Gen X movie . Since there was a lot people in that movie , who were on the way up . I think last time saw her in a movie , when she and then boyfriend Eric Stoltz were a movie together . And was on Cinemax at time , and don't remember the title of it .Due the fact my memory is a little cloudy , and the fact was the nineties after all
Grew up only ever really knowing Fonda in ‘Snow Queen’ and I ADORED that ‘film’ (the dvd had it edited as a nearly 3 hour movie 😩). I was genuinely intimidated by her. It might not be `Frozen` but damn it's a good final project to end on. Highly underrated tbh.
She doesn't hide it herself. It's easy and effortless to find current pictures of her. But when that is said, she actually looks like she is fine with her appearance, and why shouldn't she 😊
I'm tired of having my innocent comments deleted without even a notification. RUclips, your days are numbered with me and I'm moving towards other platforms.
Good for her! I remember the billboards in my neighborhood had her plastered everywhere back when she was a big star. I can see how the celebrity life can be annoying, esp if you are a homebody.

In Point Of No Return, nobody brought home the TERROR of being executed like she did.
I thank Looper for this, NON-smarmy, NON-gossipy look at her career. ❤
If I could wave a magic wand and bring an actor out of retirement, I would wave it for her.
I always wondered what happened to her, but I’m glad she’s happy and doing well. I miss her but she’s right where she wants to be and should be.
Point of no return my favorite Fonda movie.
Point of no return is my favorite. I am glad she lives her life as she wants.
There would have been no "Allie McBeal" without Calista Flockheart.
That being said, I truly admire Bridgette Fonda. I would love to see her do a comeback!
Ive enjoyed every movie shes been in and miss her dearly
People age and the fact that she hasn’t ruined her looks with plastic surgery should be celebrated! I like her even more now 🤍🩵💜
I wonder if she's ever going to realize that she's the SMART one of the family. Always liked her.
I loved her in Doc Hollywood, too... she was electric on screen. I wish her well as a private citizen.
My favorite actress of the 90s - have all her movies on DVD
I had the biggest crush on Bridget , especially she was my time time favourite Fonda .I mean outside of her aunt Jane Fonda , and she was so cute in "Singles" like the ultimate Gen X movie . Since there was a lot people in that movie , who were on the way up . I think last time saw her in a movie , when she and then boyfriend Eric Stoltz were a movie together . And was on Cinemax at time , and don't remember the title of it .Due the fact my memory is a little cloudy , and the fact was the nineties after all
Loved her work
Thank you! Very pro!
Sooooooooo beautiful!
Robert De Niro shot her in a parking lot at the mall! That's what happened to her!
Bobby D hired John Landis' lawyer and was acquitted.
She was really something for me.
I thought she was an excellent, excellent actress... I never strayed from nor doubted any of her characters.
I thought Robert DeNiro killed her in a mall parking lot 😮
It was very nice of you not to post current pictures of her, but her current appearance does tell you she gave up on more than just Hollywood.
A screwed up back will stop you from working out
She doesn't hide it herself. It's easy and effortless to find current pictures of her. But when that is said, she actually looks like she is fine with her appearance, and why shouldn't she 😊
@@stonewal316 Extra weight makes a screwed up back much worse. I'm speaking from personal experience here.
she's already lost quite a bit of the weight, she might even lost all of it by now
She's in her 60's, with a bad back, sorry she doesn't look like she did in her 20's
I'm tired of having my innocent comments deleted without even a notification. RUclips, your days are numbered with me and I'm moving towards other platforms.
SHE WAS DELIGHTFUL IN "IT COULD HAPPEN TO YOU" AND "SINGLE WHITE GIRLS" WAS UNNERVING (TO ME) SO I BECAME HER FAN.
She was definitely known as a respected young actress. I think her biggest commercial hit was “Single White Female”.
Good for her! I remember the billboards in my neighborhood had her plastered everywhere back when she was a big star. I can see how the celebrity life can be annoying, esp if you are a homebody.
