And actually this person did have a few errors on her final draft that she submitted and still got the offer. I think grammar mistakes are over-hyped as a red flag. Yes, if gross then I can see it. But for minor stuff, I think it falls way behind other factors in regards to importance. In the day and age of autocorrect, unless you’re going for an academic job or one that requires paper writing, etc, meh - I’d much rather have a strong clinical candidate than one with great grammar. I love that you pointed this out bc it’s a point I neglected to discuss in the video.

The goal is to highlight your personal (not experience based) talents/traits aka transferable skills that align ideally with the job for which you are applying. Therefore you may have several different resumes to submit based on the job type. Transferable skills are those that benefit you regardless of experience. (Organization, leadership, etc)
