Great info but I hope that resume goes through some editing before it's submitted anywhere. There are some serious grammar issues.

She states at the beginning she inserted formatting errors and to not focus on that..

And actually this person did have a few errors on her final draft that she submitted and still got the offer. I think grammar mistakes are over-hyped as a red flag. Yes, if gross then I can see it. But for minor stuff, I think it falls way behind other factors in regards to importance. In the day and age of autocorrect, unless you’re going for an academic job or one that requires paper writing, etc, meh - I’d much rather have a strong clinical candidate than one with great grammar. I love that you pointed this out bc it’s a point I neglected to discuss in the video.

Excellent video. Thank you! What are your thoughts regarding still listing clinical rotations with 1 year of NP experience in 1 site?

What to put in professional profile ( buzz words) as a new grad NP with no NP experience? Employers looking for those who have experience

Hey, I have several videos specially made for new grad candidates that should be helpful. In general this section is the same for new and experienced. The goal is to highlight your personal (not experience based) talents/traits aka transferable skills that align ideally with the job for which you are applying. Therefore you may have several different resumes to submit based on the job type. Transferable skills are those that benefit you regardless of experience. (Organization, leadership, etc)
