I grew up around the A310.My childhood was spent many times in this Iconic beauty. Notice the miss matched spinners.Left has the spiral and the right has the straight line.

Super catch! Qatar Amiri Flight brings always some nice rare planes to Switzerland like the A310 and A340-500 in ZRH and the 747SP! Great filming and looks like a great place to spot for close-up taxiing! :)

I have only flown this aircraft once in my life. It was the Pan Am flight from JFK to Helsinki back in the early '90's. Great plane. Why has it gone out of service? Anyone know?

@@TARS.. Incorrect on the engines, the 310s used the same engines found on 744s, MD11s 767s, A306s and other airplanes of its era and the 747-400 has only really been phased out now so it's not the engines. But correct on demand for more seating which is why the 762 also fell out of favor as well and why both the 310 its Boeing equivalent the 762 didnt last as long as their larger counterparts. They were great on "long and thin" routes though, far more comfortable the narrow body 757s doing the same routes today on fumes and or 321s being thrust into a role it was never designed to do.
