When a track deteriorates you can add 4 or 5 seconds to the lap times. Mini's don't create 3 foot deep ruts to deal with like a 450 does after a moto.
Adam was riding really well here. Nice lines, super smooth, and the crash definitely wasn’t from riding over his head like we’ve seen before. AC will defo win some races this year.

Ollie Mackie should have seen it in person. My fiancé and I were sitting by the sand section by the finish line and riders were constantly wrecking there during the practice that morning. Especially that last turn to the finish line. It was crazy.

IMO once AC gets a few wins under his belt and the confidence he needs to stop crashing ( like the greatest of all time did in his first year on the big bike supercross) I believe he will be the next RC RV RD ET and go on to win many big bike titles.

Awwwww.....😕 After a average hole shot, he quickly gained the lead! He ride so no one was even close to him. I never personally ride in a track with what looked to be 5"-8" ruts! I have to grab my nuts seeing him come off a double and nothing but ruts greet him in the landing. I am so grateful for the head cam: in TV one just cannot obtain appreciation for the very rough track.. If course, I am partial to green machines as I am an ex owner of a 98' KX 250. Nice ride. It seemed like he crossed himself up off the last jump.

Joys of running a 450. I can do my whole local in 3rd gear only sometimes switching up to 4th on the straights especially with the way modern 450's rev out it's pretty damn lazy haha
