NOTIFICATION SQUAD: YOU LOOK SENSATIONAL IN THAT DRESS.
Is this show really as bad as I think it is? (YES). Although I can't tell if I've become desensitised to the insanity, given that I've seen it numerous times over the years.
Shame it doesn't work (as witnessed with Natsuki in this video!). Either way, enjoy the video and get ready for a headache.
Hi

Just got the notification!

Yes, yes it is
"I was robbed by two men" Best conversation starter ever.
Chris when ever he finishes a trip with Natsuki and the Anime man!
I was rubbed by two men.
Proceeds to break out in a workout dance.
As an American, I have to admit, that is an accurate representation of what would happen to tourists here today.
Just tell them in English you have explosive diarrhea and they will let you go in peace.
Chris, I await the day you host a Japanese TV show.
Please.

Natsuki dancing along to Zuikin English might be the funniest thing I've seen all year
That was the moment I remembered to hit the like button
Hahaha
Correct 😂
Protect that man at all costs
OK, "I have a bad case of diarrhea" seems hilarious at first. But if you're ever traveling, that'd be a pretty useful phrase to know in any language if it ever does happen.
Especially if they plan to visit Taco Bell.
when would you use it though? Who cares if you have diarrhea? Its not like a stranger would have a cure for it. its just nasty and why would you tell someone that? might as well give more information like, i have erectile dysfunction, and poor bowel movements, and impacted stool. good morning.
I wanna see Chris, Joey, and Natsuki make a Zuiikin Japanese parody lol
SAME!!!! XD
Joey would just bog it down.
OMG make this a JAJ challenge 😆
I started singing these phrases as a joke and now I can't get them out of my head.
Make sure you don't sing the tune when people are around , lol
It's actually good that you can't get them phrases out of your head. That just makes the show all the more credible and to be taken seriously.
Now your dreams are going to be filled with dancing Japanese’s girls singing English phrases
I have a bad case of diarrhoea
Well, at leasr you know what to do when you have diarrehea or was robbed by 2 men.🤣
2:33
Seeing Natsuki laughing like that just injected serotonin into my brain.
Yeah, me too☺
Agreed!
He seems like such a cool guy!
yeah
Reminded me of when I was in Japan, asked a guard at a station how to get somewhere (I didn't speak Japanese) and he started moving his arms around to remember how to say right and left in English, then he told me the way. I guess sometimes moving your body works, it was a bit awkward while I was waiting, but I love the effort he put into remembering and helping me out
I watched this with my husband and we cracked up all night with the phrases they were doing. I'm a nurse, so I'm usually the serious one and he's a graphic designer and kid at heart, so he's the one that always makes the jokes...Then this morning I heard my husband run upstairs to the bathroom. I hopped up and ran up the stairs, stopping him just before he could close the door. "WAIT!" He turns and looks at me, "Come on! What?" I stood there for a moment, trying to desperately remember the dance, when it suddenly hit me, "DO YOU HAVE A BAD CASE OF DIARRHEA?" He audibly groaned and the door.
Come on! That was a good one! ...no? lol
You’re a legend. 😂 It’s funnier when the people who usually wait for the best jokes go at it.
That the auto-generated english subtitles captioned Natsuki as saying "I was loved by two men" brought the humor of this to a whole new level.
😂😁
thank you for the suggestion, yeah its much better
Was it Chris and Ryotaro, Natsuki?
The climax scene must have really got to him considering he's searching put police afterwards
🤣🤣🤣
We all know British officers would hit you with “that’s England innit” and walk away
Lmao!
Presumably it would be the same response for "I was robbed by two men" and "I have a bad case of diarrhoea"
But how would British officers react when you tell them that "They look sensational in that dress!"?
As a Brit, I find this to be an almost daily occurrence
With an accompanying public order fine (just in case).
I unironically want a Japanese version of this. I might actually exercise if I could learn random Japanese phrases while doing it
It exists! But it dont translate the japanese phrases, so no idea what they are saying!!
Oh Natsuki, you are a breath of fresh air in a cold and dreary world. Also Chris dancing in a reaction window was utterly perfect.
Chris dancing in the reaction window was the best part of the video
To be fair, laughing uncontrollably could be a pretty good abdominal and cardiovascular exercise.

I'm Japanese, I had no idea about this show and thought this was a joke otherwise how come I've never watched this masterpiece until now. Found out this was aired early 90' when I was 6, of course still sleeping at 5am. Imagine Japanese children loudly sing "I have a bad case of diarrhea" everywhere in Japan. Back in the day there were many ridiculous Japanese tv programme however strict regulations changed them all. Now "I have a bad case of diarrhea" song stuck in my head, try not to sing in front of my 3 years old daughter. Thank you Chris for sharing this.
Can you tell me more about the regulations or send me somewhere where I can learn about them? It sounds interesting, why and how would they suddenly start to regulate tv shows changibg everything. Especially in the light of the other video about the Japanese tv in this channel
By the looks of this it might have been like an 80s show that just did reruns in the 90s.

Today, he would twist the relentless singing voices in his mind into an exercise spectacle. The voices and dancing were always there, every waking moment. "It's your fault that this happened."

This brought back memories of actually watching this show on Fuji back in 1992. I would commute to Tokyo early in the mornings and so would wait around in my house for about 20-40 minutes just watching what was on television. As someone who had been on many business trips to America, I knew that language like this was not exactly useful, but it was still entertaining with its loud synths and dancing sequences. As one of those ‘extra slots’ on television just after the Bubble period, it wasn’t well-known but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
The teaching method is still used in language classes, where it's called Total Physical Response (TPR). It's not used so much for describing bowel disorders though.
