What grips/size you use these days? As for Video WITB and answering questions if you have ever or will attempt playing competitive golf other then Long Drive.
Thanks for the videos Martin.. here are my questions: when did you start golfing and long driving? what is your favorite thing to do besides working out and golfing? What kind of food do you eat? What kind of supplements do you take? And who would win in a wrestling match you, Kyle Berkshire, hogan, or Bryson? Thanks again keep up the good work
Martin, you are a beast with an extremely high IQ which inspires me to follow your journey. If you can share your workout (power) regimen in the gym that would be gold. Cheers 👍💪💪🙏🔥🔥✊🙌🤜☝️
The info in the video is good, but I must say that the video production and audio quality on this video are off the charts good. This was the best Long Drive related video I have seen. Great work 👏 👍 🚀💣
Love everything about this video. So motivating. I just went and hit 245 balls on sim and avg 327 yrds total with 2 in the 370’s.. keep these sessions coming. Cheers Martin
Wow that’s great how were you able to do that?? I can’t get past 300 what’s your secret to use? Past 300? I wa to learn how!! Thanks also what’s the type of driver you are using now to do that for?? Shaft and all that??
many videos on youtube regarding speed are very oversimplified and boring. your extremely high energy with very useful tips and information really make it an enjoyable watch. you also have a great sense of humor and your videos really highlight that. keep up the good work!
Greatest video of all time. I hope this gets millions of likes. Every golfer needs to watch this. Maybe every football player as well. Maybe just anyone - this is motivational man!
This was incredibly insightful Martin and great production value. Can you talk a bit about how your trail leg works in the swing as a power source if at all?
Would be so awesome if you did a Training Series where you show how you periodize your training with weights vs technique vs speed sessions vs CNS recovery.
Awesome video. It’s great to see the importance of priming the body. Plus it’s really encouraging to see a video that shows failure and how not to be out off by that but use it as a positive. 👍🏻 Also I never knew how to drink water properly! 😂 Thanks for showing us that! 💦
Great fun!Look forward to you Martin going up against Kyle. All the best on your journey to climb Mount Berkshire!!Its gonna be the greatest show on earth!!
I've been watching since you started doing videos last year, the last few have been awesome. I'm planning on being in Mesquite in March to compete as an amatuer. Hope to see you there!
Thanks Martin, for answering my question and being an inspiration. I had a little session 2 days ago, my first after a Holliday break. I was slow on the range, terrible, but on course I had some proper long drives considering the weather and course conditions. It’s good for people to realize that speed does need to cost control. Golf is much easier if you have some distance. This not only translates in your drives, but also in your second shots. It’s far easier to hit a 8-iron in than a 5-iron. If you gain 20m with your driver, you probable can also gain 10m with your irons. Test it! Prepping for comp in 3 months. Distance is my relative advantage.
Awesome content, really helpful for us that haven't made it into the pro ranks... yet!!!! I built a portable version of your space training pulley system, thanks for the info it helped 5 more MPH!!! almost 145!!!! Thanks!
Love the JUICE the setup and the isokinetic pulley. As far as taxing your CNS it appears you go by feel a lot since you have a general plan of attack. Do you measure HRV or other metrics? Just to be clear you mentioned you might train after the session. Would you generally golf before doing a strength/gym session - besides a dynamic warm up? Or will you go to the gym before golf depending on the goal/season? Also curious what recovery looks like for you
Worlds Longest GERMAN with a Red Beard. Us Germans call that Strawberry Blond, well that's what My German mom said to me back in the day. Nice work man you are very entertaining your enthusiasm is killer. Huge support from a German living in Alberta Canada.
Been trying hard to work on that left shoulder around and back to pickup speed. Love this type of content!! Any tips Martin on why I can swing irons/3 wood much faster than where driver speed seems to max out at. 7iron is around 91mph. Driver is stalling around 112
Man, this video helped me finally understand why you push off you lead foot in the downswing. I never got, why you want to push your body away from the ball but as you arms come down the other way you want to build on that circle when pushing of the ground. LFG
I‘m breathless 😅 Lovin your informative sessions Big Man. I‘m averaging 20m further in the last year since starting to watch Kyle and yourself ( not bad for an old b*****d (57) 😉). Keep up the entertainment and great info! Cheers Andrew
Hey Martin, Great Stuff. Question: 1) When you lift your left heel in order to create a wider and higher backswing circle, do you go Internal with the left leg? 2) If so, do you remain internal until you re-plant and purchase a forward heel position from where it started? 3) Do you feel that this would create a larger Moment Arm? Once you Post on the Spiraled Left Leg the you clearly create a Huge Vertical GFR that facilitates your ability to reverse the left foot in a Counter Clockwise motion. Thank You
@@MartinBorgmeierLD Ok, good. I know that here and in previous videos you prefer to send the club further away from target in the transition. (almost like a javelin) This left heel that I questioned gives you the maximum diagonal distance from the hands working distally away from the two points. Additionally, do you prefer to stand Open to your line of flight? Thanks Again.
martin, would be interesting to hook your brain up to an eeg while you are practicing...lots of brain traffic haha...and hilarious to hear your verbage in german haha...keep up the great vids, brother!
Love the video! Great stuff! 1 question I have is regarding tempo. At the start from the top are you starting as hard as you possibly can or is it a smoother transition with more speed at the bottom? Thanks
Love the video! One question I have is that I am trying to hit a fade instead of a uncontrollable draw on the course but when I do it,I hit too much down on it with the driver. Therefore losing distance. Any tips? :D
I’m stuck on 131 to 135 on trackman I’m useing 44. Half inch shaft hunk if when to 46 can get one forty I’m watching ur training videos and there helping

What is the tee set up you're using? I'm very new to LD and am looking for a nice tall set up like that. Thanks Martin!
I want to know too. I just bought Tee Claws but broke 2 in one session and I don’t even swing fast.
it‘s a tee claw + I‘ve produced my own bamboo tees. You‘re not supposed to touch the tee claw ;-)

Hey man my ball speed is at 186.5 right now with a 125 club head speed and Im hitting about 325. Where should I be to compete in amateur long drive?
I’m stuck on 131 to 135 on trackman I’m useing 44. Half inch shaft hunk if when to 46 can get one forty I’m watching ur training videos and there helping
roughly 2mph club speed per inch from my experience
Rn I'm at 325 yard total at 15 yrs old and I'm hoping to someday hit 400
💪💪💪💪
If this was the first video I've seen of yours, then I'd be 99.99% sure you're coked up.
As a basketball player, what do you think is transferable between the two sports?
all the vertical elements! Check out the latest @regecy video for details
Will Long Drive switch the the 46 length standard?
I don‘t think so, but I‘m using it a lot right now at the early stage of my speed push. Switching to 48" more as time moves on 🚀
What is 1.-1/2 down and 8-10 down mean ??
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Cool wäre noch, wenn du jedes mal wenn du einen Schlag gemacht hast einblendest wie hoch der club/ball speed ist
will do next time
Are you right handed or left?
right handed
