Saxon,Roman, new silver coins oh my! You have it all in that field my friend. Lovely video. Turtle nesting season starting in Florida, so must fill all holes completely when metal detecting! Cheers from North Florida.
Hello Alex, what a varied selection of finds. I’m envious of the time periods you have finds from. We Americans on the West coast are relegated to hopefully older coins along with some being silver and the much rarer gold one. Beach hunting we still regularly get gold and silver jewelry. My old favorite spots along rivers have been absolutely ruined by the homeless who camp and trash everything up. Of course they don’t lose any silver or gold crack pipes or syringes. I’m relegated to hunting the foothills for the occasional gold nugget or a coin of hopefully silver and the illusive gold one. Thanks for taking us along on your hunt… John
Sounds epic shame about the trash situation but the river I detect along doesn't have a homeless problem but I still pull out tin foil coke cans (vintage) and dozens of old ring pulls but I've found a couple of coins and a buckle nothing mind blowing but still awesome fun.
Well done Alex 👏 👏👏 Amazing finds again, very very interesting. The guilded buckle is a really lovely yellow colour of gold, the colour does give it a look of that part of the world IMHO.

Hi Alex, I always have my doubts when the consensus is a furniture fitting. It seems to be the default for ‘Don’t Know’. If it is crudely made it might be Roman or amateur made ? But most periods items were generally very well and accurately made. Metal values were much higher back in the past because there was no mechanised mining so great care was taken during manufacture. Thanks Claire! I will send details! x😁
What program you using on deus 2 and u using puck only?
Never had the remote Swift not on the Deus 1 either I use programme 3 with some minor alterations
Yes all good just working hard to old for trying to keep up with all the youngster’s lol but I do try. Hope you’re ok Alex and keep finding the thin-balls 🤭🤭🤭
As always, some amazing stuff there. My jealousy is tempered slightly by the fact that although you can wax lyrical about Roman emperors, you don't know George V from George VI 😁
You mentioned eBay a couple of times, so I idly searched for you. I can't find HH as a seller but someone called 'awesomeartefacts' is using your name... is that you or a random chancer?
No thats me Muzzy! I am still testing the water as Awesome Artefacts and getting used to how it all works - glad of it too some bloke has already claimed the coin I posted wasnt even in the envelope so already i have 75% positive feedback which probably isn't very encouraging to potential buyers!
@@HolzHammerSagas Yeah, I spotted that. I thought you had shifty eyes from the moment I first watched one of your videos so it came as no surprise 😉
Just kidding - people are always trying something on, so it's better to learn that while you're still testing the water, I suppose. I haven't sold on eBay for years, so I can't say with any authority, but I'm sure it won't be a common thing. It's a bugger to get one early doors, though.
Anyway, at least I know who to ask when I'm short of empty envelopes 😉
It looks like your item has been bent over and would have been straight rather than having a 90* bend in it. Just a thought...
Very possibly Jeanne, thank you very much and sorry not to have got back to you sooner! All the Best, Alexander
😍👍
Thanks Artur! And sorry not to have got back to you sooner!
Always wanted to find a sixpence with the acorns and oak leaf on. Love anything to do with Oak........one day.
Well done on your beautiful finds Alex. Xx
I am sure you would prefer to find one Amanda but if you would like that one I will send it to you! x
@@HolzHammerSagas Alex. Im always saying its not the same if someone gives you their finds.
But if you would let me have the sixpence......id happily pay.....i would have that as a good luck charm!!!!!x
Mind tossing me some of your luck?
🍀... there you go... 😁

Hello Alexander. Hope all is well. Just another fantastic video and day out with amazing finds. Wow, that gold guild animal whatsy😮. But yes, that cross/furniture fitting that looks so interesting to feel it in your hands must be an amazing experience. I buy some coins or finds, and it sounds like a great idea, a small shop on your channel. Hope all is well and looking forward to the next awesome finds on this field. 👍✌️🦘🇦🇺🦘 Ps, give pat Tasc for me.
Hi Allan - I will put out a link to the "shop" soon! Hope all well down there - all good here! I am on the beach!!! 😁
