I was about number 250 in line, was in TN from NY and learned about the drop so we were very unprepared (slept on the sidewalk). It was an awesome experience though. Tried some right away in the squire house. Still have not seen the OG coy in the wild.
@@HOUSEBOURBON yup in front of the mason lodge, got there at 3 am. My plan was a 6-630 arrival but a local that was number 50ish told me it was filling up fast. Glad the timing worked out.
Me and my wife had a hotel about 15min away. I had buddies going there about 9pm and was hoping to get a call from them about 3-4am when there was 100-150 people. Well there was about 100 people at 8pm so that’s when we got in line. Well never even saw the hotel 🤦🏻♂️ 😃😃
The was to get there around 5AM but everyone was posting about how long the line was so we ended up getting there around 1:30AM. Had a great time and made some new friends. By the time I got home I’d been up for about 30 hours but it was definitely worth it.
Yeah they only do it once a year. And this year they tired to keep it pretty quiet. They only officially sent emails to the Tennessee Squires (invite only Jack Daniels group, I’m not a member of) but I know some and follow Warehouse 107 on Facebook and he let me know. I’ll post on my community page if I ever hear of anything
History says they will only do this once. I think they have only had distillery drops once for some of there special releases and once or twice for JD12 and JD10. I don’t think they really want the hassle of having allocated stuff at their store. All you can get are some good Single Barrels and the Taster/Distiller series. TN is not even the best place to find JD special releases (in previous years)
TN is not a dry state. What are you talking about? Lynchburg might be in a dry county, but you can buy liquor in many areas of TN. Ever here of Nashville?😂😂😂
Great session fellas! Looking forward to the the next one! 🥃
Thanks man!

Were you the two lying in the ground at 6am? 😃 well good timing! Are you a squire? One day I hope to be. It’s a great pour! Well done Jack Daniels!

Is this a year event where they’re open to the public?
Any registration required?

Thank you for the info.
What is the MSRP on Coy Hill?
$90 😮
@@judesisilangilang4465yep. Good old JDs keeping there special releases reasonable
They obviously sold out at $90 a bottle...how often are the drops? Can you regularly find if you make the trip to Lynchburg?
