As daemons, Oni aren't merely like Nipponese ogres, nor even ogres with magic and to diminish their description to such would be an insult to both Warhammer races. Even though all oni I've seen have been consistently portrayed in media and pop culture. Interesting that East and West Warhammer have distinct, regionalized daemons to contend with. Tengu seem almost mischievious yet possessed of a 'natural' inner nobility of spirit, truly noble, that would shame the upper class of Bretonnia. Kitsune are anthropomorphic spirits and not souls of the dead? Or not spectral, or at least not permanently? More magical humanoid furries, they seem, anyway. Embodying part fariytle, part moral anecdote. The sea dragons have always looked memorable and distinct, bearing their manes of hair, multi-nostrils or multi-horned, maybe whiskered. I'm always mezmerized at imagery of those Eastern giant serpents, whether Nipponese or from the source culture. Being inadvertant guardians or sentinels of the nation, benevolent at heart, makes these Mizuchi more consistently endearing among all of the grimness and darkness. Another fine charge-leading video on Nippon. These profiles were enjoyably more substantive than simply token mentions of monsters. My thank you's and Nipponese bows, “shogun” Narrator, for this subseries of info long overdue from GW. Looking forward the next, meanwhile, have an awesome and healthy week. Blessings of all the kami be upon you (not all at once).
Oh boy Mike always like the Japanese mythology myself it's interesting how east and west have different versions of what we perceive what mythical creatures look like," 😃👍
Oh yeah Nippon's Oni and tango are cool well the Skaven say what the chaos daemons are things, things, the Tango are likable honor and trolling the troublemakers and -Not blood thirsty which is a breath of fresh air from the Warhammer fantasy demons of chaos, and that one Tango at 7:47 looks freaking awesome love the artwork in the detail to it to its beaded necklace to it holding fan I like the black red and white-Color scheme, oh yeah "OKAMI!!!!" You really feel like they are not in the warhemmer world for the most part probably due to the fact the lore went forward while they were still stuck in early warhemmer lore 😅

The mythical parts are usually the best parts of a faction. Thankyou!
It's usually my favorite parts.

The Tengu, in Japanese history, were supposed to have taught combat skills to the fabled Ninja .
I also like the Tengu, but I find the Oni being both demonic and “living” very fascinating.
Oni and Tengu, my favorite yokai!
👹👺
I kinda liked all of them. They all have some appeal.

I would say its because they took actual folklore and only twisted it slightly before adding it to Warhammer. But then again, its a fandex.
Who's next after nippon? IND?
Yes, probably Ind. Either that or the Araby revisit.
