3am new year’s morning 1/1/24. I had listened to his earlier version when he was much younger, but today I was drawn by the spirit to listen to this song again, and found this version where he’s grown older. Still so beautifully sung. It quells the loneliness as the dawn of a new day approaches.

Watching the original video from Act II when Damian is younger, George is like a father gazing proudly upon his son as he sings. You can almost feel the connection they have without trying. Damian is and has been one of my favorite members of Celtic Thunder, but I think the performance of this song when he was younger was much better. It's just too bad it's closed to comments.

I THOUGHT AT FIRST SOMETHING WAS OVERLAPPING. Listening Twice, this song was beautifully delivered different from the younger version of Damian and George.. I love the harmony of both, and I love that watchful gaze of George over Damian. So sad that George is in the Lord's abode. RIP, George.

I've listened to the title a dozen times and I'm still thrilled, although the song with Damian's Brighton child's voice Sounds ever better, and the impressive background inserts by George make the song one of my favorite performance.

As much as I miss George and mourn his loss, this performance by Damian will never overshadow his younger performance. He caught my heart with it the first time I saw and heard him sing it, and he will forever own my emotional response to the song with George on the stairs.

Definitely OUT of SYNC !! The "Act II" version (when he was 14 yrs old) is much better) Also, such a difference in depth - Damion is a bit older now and his voice is much deeper, but still a great performance. RIP George 😢😢
