It always amazes me that singers from another country sing our national anthem with such respect and beauty. Many U.S. singers could learn that just singing the words and the beautiful melody, with respect and passion, is all that is needed to bring pride and sometimes tears to the eyes of those listening. Thank you, Damian. You did a beautiful job.
It is interesting that to Irishmen sing our national anthem better than many Americans do. Damian rocked it here, and Paul Byrom did a wonderful job at a Celtic's game.

Thank you Damian & your performance was just out of this world. I'm a big fan of yours & have been watching you & Celtic Thunder for years .What an Honer ❤🎉😊
Every difficult (and ugly) song to sing, but he was more than up to it. (I like how clearly he sang "free" as "fray" so the note could be held (aaay as opposed to eeee); that good vocal training on top of a naturally good voice.
Thank you Damian. Such a wonderful job. God Bless you young man. I am such a fan of you and your music. I have been filling you since you sang Bird without wings with George. It is my favorite song. With you singing it.
I still often listen to Celtic Thunder where even as a young lad, Damian's bass voice was loved by all. ❤ I still smile when I think of the young girls in the audience swooning when Damian sang Puppy Love... Fran xx
You know you got a problem in your country when an Irishman can sing the national anthem with more respect than some of your own citizens. Wow he was good!
Native Americans sing the national anthem with pride in how there voice sounds and not with pride in being an American. When they do it doesn't sound like our anthem. They chop it to pieces. Damien done a great job. I'd like to here Celtic Thunder sing it.👍
That's how he always sings... A lot of times the Irish accent goes away when people sing, save for a few words. Damian though is just about the least Irish sounding Irish person you can get when he talks. Lol.
l wanted to see my Brazil and all Brazilians respct the National Anthem , just as Americans do . Here the left works to not allow that to happen . Congratulations , American Brothers.
It's a damn shame for a person from another country to sing the anthem in such a beautiful way. Then we have these clowns who are Americans screw it up so badly. I just do not understand.
Now, that's how you sing the national anthem. Well done, Damian.
Damian has the voice of an angel.
cause he is

Why is Celtic's pronounced with an S sound instead of a hard C (K)?

Agreed
Great job, Damian.
He sure did! 💞
Thank you damian for this powerful rendition. My American 🇺🇸 soul felt so proud
Oh my goodness.... I'm dead... Are those angels singing? Nope... that's just Damian McGinty. Now THIS makes me want to put my hand over my heart.
He's an Irish lad living part time in the US. He did an awesome job and showed lots of class and dignity while honoring his home from home!!
Interesting to hear a bass sing this. But Damian still killed it!
Harley Robb I think he's baritone or a tenor he can sing pretty low n really high
Damian is a lyric baritone
seamus1956 in Celtic they use him more of a bas then a baritone
@@seamus1956 He's a lyric bass, with a 4 octave range.
Thank you Damian for showing such awesome respect for our Flag and our Country. I have a multitude of respect for yours as well.
He did a wonderful job so much better than the American morons that sing it
Such great respect for you again for honoring our country in singing our National Anthem with so much respect. You are a class act.
First time i've stayed and listened to the entire thing. Go Damien, great job.
There has always been a reason I loved Damian's voice. He's so talented. Yes, he's Irish, yet he gives so much respect to our country 🎶🇺🇸
Damian, so glad to see you here and singing so wonderful. Thanks for not adding some horrid ending as we all have heard before.
Bases can't usually sing like this. he is an angel and has the voice of one even though he is Irish he is singing the american national anthem
Then listen to Tim Foust. That`s a real bass with a vocal range of 5 octave.
Wow he has such a wonderful voice
He's really good with Celtic Thunder and the right songs. But he's no Malo or Buble. But then, nobody can sing everything well.
Amazing Job Damian! Awesome to hear a bass sing this so well!
He did such and exceptional job singing this difficult anthem-- without yodeling or throwing in a bunch of vocal notes not needed. I Loved it. Diana
Diana A. Ingersoll agreed

It takes big balls to sing that song in front of a few thousand people. Good jog kiddo.

crowe bobby he is Irish he can sing it better than any yank can!
As a soprano, I agree - when I'm singing up in the rafters, the vowel is an "ah" no matter what's written on the page. :D
I think his Irish accent is a plus for that pronunciation as well. 😊 What a sweetheart 😊❤
This is literally perfect
Just perfect
More people should sing this like Damian
Damian.... just..... damn 😍
Whoa!!! That was beautiful!
Damian...we are neighbors of the McALEESES here in Seattle who own KELLS. Have admired your voice for many years.

It's odd to me that an Irishman sang the US national anthem better than some of the people doing it other sporting events.
Very good.

This man is Irish and he does this better than a lot of American artists.
Well, don't you know that everybody is Irish on March 17th.
Very true Kayal it's either screaming, yoldling or nasal singing.

MiaTheAsian HOW? omg I wanna sing with him!
Haha I was in 5th grade and it was for a choir thing
MiaTheAsian lucky omg
He's got some growl, and hit the highs, ld like to hear him scream like Chris Cornell
I came here after watching Maya Rudolph (literally) gibber her way through the song on SNL and turn it into spoken word poetry. :)

Am I crazy or did he say no say can you see? :)
Everyone has some Celtic roots, they were all over Europe at one time.
Cmon do the Irish anthem Damian 😂
Or Bono, he screams pretty good. 😆
