- Tag along with CJ Hobgood and Levi Slawson in this fun behind-the-scenes edit as they hop on a little plane and head to the Bahamas looking for surf as a mean cold front pounds the east coast with waves. The waves were epic, the blues were bluer than ever, and the crew felt lucky just to experience it all.
Missing T-ball tryouts is at least a $50 fine and a week on the couch. Depending on the jurisdiction it could be even more severe. Look at those little hammer heads running around the bases, wearing a big ol' helmet, and smiling from ear to ear. Can't miss that!

Me, Rob, Sam, Floyd, Dave, and the Hobgood boys all surfed Pet Den in late 80’s, early 90’s... those young groms were really talented then too. And they had respect! Class act them Hobgoods... 28 years later I’m still in Costa Rica and they’re millionaires. My how time flies...

The best waves in the Caribbean are created by noreasters and only last half a day tops. Some West Indies islands can get lasting hurricane swell but they do not compare.

@@kmaclean77 you are incorrect. I know all about islands of the Atlantic and Pacific and none of them Bahamas or Bermuda are in the Caribbean. They are in the North Atlantic Ocean north of Cuba off the US East Coast.

Can anyone ID that island? Pretty familiar with the bahamas from diving there quite a bit, but now interested in trying some strike surf missions and couldn't figure it out.

@@rosiestropicalfun I've been free diving/surfing all over the world and I'm probably one of the biggest promoters/followers of conservationism. Grew up on the east coast of Florida so I was just curious where in the bahamas this was as I've been pretty much all over the islands throughout my life, but couldn't ID the marina where the wave was breaking.
