She fills guilty because technically they died because of her.They knew what was coming but they didn't deside to kill Hope,They desided to let her live and let her become a powerful hybrid like her dad,even better than her dad. She's lucky to have parents that decided to die for her.
Exactly I hate when Alaric talks bad about klaus infront of hope because he was still her dad. He was trying to better for her but like what they were doing to Lizzie in the last episode of season 2 of legacies he wasn’t able to look past one version of klaus. Personally I feel like he only wanted to see the bad klaus.

I don't dislike Alaric, but I think Caroline would have been a much better mentor for Hope.

There’s indeed a uphil battle to play the daughter of a beloved character playef by a terrific actor... Hoping this might sway some who still feel Hope isn’t being potrayed ”correctly”. I think the actress is doing great and the character feels like a good blend of her family.

Her sister enjoys attention, and it seems josie is just someone who lizzie uses for her personal needs. Josie, being the person she is, she cares for her sister no matter what. She longs for companionship but is afraid of her heart being broken again, yet she has fallen for another. But, that someone caught the eye of her sister; and because of this, it is unlikely josie will end up with said person. She's a broken soul, longing for someone who could love her correctly. So, forgive me if i'm wrong to think that they aren't perfect for each other.
lowkey feel like "I'll be the villain of yours" may be foreshadowing and Landon and Hope may become enemies and Raf and Hope will be endgame (enemies to friends to lovers)
