    Nice reinforcement. To be honest, you can buy a narrow and short steel connector plate, many sizes available, which would do the same thing (also called mending or repair plates). It would also last longer being steel, have a smaller profile, and are very cheap (pennies/cents each).

      Thanks for being honest and also for your comment. Yeah, "repair plates" will do the job. It can work. In my opinion, it just does not look very nice. I believe that 9 wifes from 10 will not "commission" such solution as the solution to the problem :-) My hinge cover, is contrary quite elegant, nice to touch and looks more like an upgrade of the cupboard :-)

      Yes it certainly looks a lot prettier than a metal repair plate. You should produce them for sale, I believe it would prove very popular.

      Exactly mate. What about the holes on the inside also? Thats where mine is knackered..tries packing them and all sorts...

      Hi, in fact I did some experimental printing of a cover for the other side of the hinge...If you are not in a hurry....send me some pictures of your problem (hinge from two three sides..). I can try to figure out something for you; -)

      A new IKEA PAX door: 20 - 80€!! 3D printer is used for many other things...
