I am so happy, gay if you will, to collaborate once again with Jon Cozart on another song to present to you all! Based off a fun little idea I had a few months ago, Joan and Jon agreed to help bring this little “I Want” song to life, and now, with the help of many of my friends, we have a video to go with it, which we had tons of fun making! Well technically, if you guys know of the Percy Jackson books, you may know of Nico di Angelo. He is a son of Hades, who is the king of the Underworld, making Nico a prince. He is also in a relationship with the son of Apollo, and he is gay. As Percy Jackson is part of the Disney Hyperion, that makes Nico di Angelo a Gay Disney Prince

I saw a comment along these lines when this video first came out. It spoiled that plotpoint for me (as I'd only read the original five books at that point) and inspired me to buy the Heroes of olympus series and read it as well.
I was genuinely touched by how well done that whole plotline was, both as representation and as a plotpoint and character development for Nico and the people around him.
So I'm glad I saw that comment back then. (Still a little sad about the spoiler though)
