This video helped me make a decision I haven't regretted - bought 2024 Kona Hybrid Ultimate and am very pleased with it - one of the best new cars I've had. The car feels faster than the figures suggest and MPG is very good at around 59mpg on mixed driving.
I like that they addressed some of the complains of the last ten such as rear leg room. Something the new Volvo XC30 has a huge issue with.
Why they don’t bring this car in USA?. US needs to stop giving 💵💵💵💵💵 to all country, I did not authorized for my taxes to go there
I`m looking at buying a Kona myself, the presenter says at 6.17 that the electric battery is so small as to be unlikely to power the car. May I ask if you have found that ?. I assumed it would do about 20 miles on the electric battery about town.
@@telstar4772 I've had a Kona Hybrid 1.6 Ultimate since March this year. I don't think you'd be able to travel 20 miles on the battery. The way the car works is to continuously switch between ICE, hybrid, charging mode and battery. The car achieves its economy by rapidly changing between these power sources rather than remaining in one particular mode for a long period and certainly nothing like 20 miles. (It also uses the satnav to determine when it can charge by coasting etc.). BTW the change in mode is only obvious because you see it on the instrument panel, you don't feel anything as the driver.
Shame they didn’t bother with adding chapters to the video but these guys are the only ones worth listening to on car reviews

Looks nice from front an back but too much plastic cladding on sides just looks weird, Kia niro done that too, big black plastic bits stuck on side at back looks odd too, cladding looks good on renegade and pre facelift Tucson but on these new shape they look better without it

The car - Hyundai kona - is really nice and remains a very good "Value for money" proposal. I would probably consider it in N Line trim which looks much better.

Impresssively comprehensive review and presentation particularly the important technical aspects of fhe car.👍 Most other reviews of the car I've seen are rather shallow and paper thin with a focus on aesthetics and infotainment.
