Quite simply the Hilton Garden Inn Terminal 2 is my favourite hotel at Heathrow Airport.
For a few simple reasons. A first class Hilton Hotel, perfect location for T2 and easy to get to T5or T4
....and those views. Whether from your high floor room or the peerless Runway Bar on the roof top.
One of the few places you can see both runways at Heathrow.

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times, and I highly recommend it. There’s a sumptuous buffet breakfast included in some room rates, otherwise £18.00 for full English, £15.00 for Continental, and a good restaurant open for dinner. Light lunches are available at The Apron Bar on the lower level. There’s a well equipped gym for those who want to workout. The hotel is connected via an underground walkway to the Underground, Heathrow Express, Elizabeth Line, and the Central Bus Station. Last and certainly not least, the staff is wonderful. They always remember me and welcome me warmly.

It’s a great hotel. It’s hard to exaggerate the runway views from the 14th floor bar.
I had no problem finding the hotel-I’ll credit this video. I flew into T2 on United. As you exit customs, turn to the left. If you’re familiar with LHR, you may know where you’ll find the United arrivals lounge (it will be on your left as you exit customs). Take the first exit out of the terminal and, as shown in the video, as you cross the walkway you’ll see the gap between the elevator banks that leads you straight into the multilevel parking garage. Just keep going straight ahead. I think it’s impossible to miss the entrance into the Hilton Garden Inn.
In the terminal itself, as you walk past the United arrivals lounge, there’s a great little Marks and Spencer’s mini supermarket. The variety of excellent food there is really good. There’s also a Caffè Nero opposite this M&S that offers really good coffee.

I am sure you will enjoy. Runway bar opens at 3pm so morning get over to Myrtle. Install the app. Use it to check in and you can pick your room from floor plans to get the best runway views.

The Runway Bar is a bucket list thing. On this trip will be adding two items to my aviation wow collection, Gibraltar airport and the RB :)

Hi , it had 2 terraces facing each runway. So the best spot at LHR. However only small cameras and phones allowed. No big lenses
Is it easy to get to Terminal 3？ I am thinking to stay at this hotel in September for one night. I might have few suitcases. Thanks.
Yes, it is! It is completely covered walk. Will take 5 to 10 mins but you can use a trolley and lots of travelators. Or get a "Bolt" ( like an Uber just download the app )

Coming from T3 the signage isn't great but keep going and you'll find it. You need to go through the car park to find the front door. Going to T3 from the hotel is fine but it's a pretty long walk so be sure to use a trolley if you have a lot of luggage.
@@pem1902Thank you. I stayed at the Hilton for two nights, both in late September and early December. In September, my flight arrived at Terminal 2, and I had no difficulty finding the hotel; it is very close and easy to locate. My departure flight was from Terminal 3, and I had no problem walking there either. However, in December, my flight arrived at Terminal 3, and after collecting my bags, I encountered some difficulty finding the path to Terminal 2. Although I followed the signs to Terminal 2, the path was blocked. I couldn't locate any other signs directing me to Terminal 2, but a very kind gentleman guided me from Terminal 3 to Terminal 2. The hotel is very nice. I would stay there again.
Is there safe parking at this hotel?
We’re off to Orlando this August for 2 weeks and my kids would love this hotel, overlooking the runway.

How long would it take to get from your room to the check in at T2 if you were in a hurry (door to door)?
What a great question ! Thank you. Room to lobby probably a couple of minutes, lobby to entrance to T2 again a couple of minutes. So I guess you could be in your check in queue within 10 mins of leaving your room
