I think Lebron and Tom Brady compare to each other in this respect. They have both extended their peak for so long that now both are hitting in the end of their primes, we can’t separate them from their pure peaks. Like Brady is still a top 5 QB at 43 years old and Lebron is still a top 5 player in year 18. But their only issues are they need a team to play to their strengths more than ever because the weaknesses are more glaring now. Like Lebron strengths are greatly highlighted when there are shooters everywhere on the floor such as 2018, not necessarily his best team but it allowed him to be at his greatest because he could facilitate to shooters, get to the rim, and have enough spacing to work the post efficiently. This Lakers team didn’t have shooting or spacing and was heavily built for AD because of that, it weakened Lebron’s effectiveness w/o AD.

Thank you for an intelligent analysis, rather than the hysterical nonsense a lot of fools are spouting It’s🇬🇧🇸🇩🇬🇧
Tim Duncan never proclaimed that he was the GOAT
Lmao. What makes LeBron not have that claim?
because tim duncan isnt even top
top 3*
Since win was Tim Duncan and I mean no disrespect in the goat conversation
I never thought they NEEDED Andre Drummond

I was waiting for a vid like this from u swish
It's kinda interesting how almost all GMs think wing players and shooters in general are more impactful, and such thinking is guided by analytics. Ulta, Phenix, Denver, Mav, 76ser, all benefited greatly from this philosophy. Yet lakers GM keep trading big man (marc gasol, montrezl harrell, drummond )
Bigmen were effective for the Lakers last season though. Then again, they didn't balance it this season so that was their downfall.
I appreciate you making this video
We need to do a sign and trade for Kyle Lowry
They should've
Honestly trade kuz
@@lekobejordan9766 there's a video of LeBron looking angerly at Kyle kuzma after he bricked a shot and the last time that happened was with Lonzo ball...

1. November: AD is a superstar, we have the best duo of the NBA vs. June: who? mr glass? soft as a mf
2. November: we got the 6MOTY! vs. June: he's washed, Harrell doesn't fit
3. November: Schroeder, finally a player that'll let LBJ breathe and stop playing point forward vs. June: brick ass PG
4. November: KCP! KCP! vs. June: more like KCPoop
5. March: get Drummond out of Ohio man, we need a big body vs. June: bench his overrated ass
6. February: oh we got Morris? that's a baaaad man vs. June: he's cheeky bun buns
Nice to see Chris from Park and Rec became Lakers GM
I wasn't a LeBron fan...but as we get closer to see him retire... LeBron is growing on me and more I root for him..not championship wise but just as how great if a player he has been for 18 yrs srt8

That was real, I feel it I’m not even a LeBron fan, but the fact he’s been at this level for 18 years and is a global superstar deserves some respect
“Aight man” a line that strikes fear into any athletes heart
Tim Duncan is couple years older than LBJ when they entering the 17th season
Good video, I pretty much agree with everything. It was a very unlucky season for the Lakers.
71 day off-season.
Great video bro u brought some rlly good points
People keep saying “lebron called him the goat so that’s why his standards are so high”
There’s literally interviews where people said Jordan and wilt used to argue why they the goat. Guess what? Put them on a show centred around barbershop talk and see if it slips out their mouth smh let the man be confident in his abilities..
MJ and Wilt didn't argue.
Wilt told MJ that Wilt was the GOAT because they changed all the rules to make it easier for MJ while they changed all the rules to make it harder for Wilt and that was the end of the conversation.
@@BaithNa fax meanwhile bron and jordan have said its hard to debate because of different players in different eras and rules and things of that nature its an opinion

The NBA is a game of circumstances it always have been, random injuries, family situations, or just simply they wasn’t feeling it in a important game. Every path to the chip have it’s random circumstances, that’s why I never crown a champ early because you have to account for injuries, random chemistry issues (Golden state 2019) etc.

your 2 best player is, old and the other one is a walking injury. That's enough to show how much pressure they faced
This loss doesn't hurt his legacy, but it definetly hurts his GOAT case.
If theres really a debate from the beginning? A goat dont need to be sorrounded himself with other all star just to win championship. And dont need to be jumping from team to team.. Lol
@@alvindanica because MJ played with bums, is that what u saying? And don't start with the narrative of "well at least he didn't switch teams". He was almost ready to leave the bulls if they didn't surround him with talent
We can debate this till the end of time but can just admit lebron was down bad this season not even lebron the whole laker organization from major injuries to them being a top 3 seed to HAVING TO PLAY IN THE PLAY IN TOURNAMENT just to get in the playoffs it amazes me how they even made it to the playoffs
He can still beat the scoring title if he's healthy til '24 season. He was supposed to break it next year but everything happened so man that's gonna be major on his goat case
@@alvindanica that’s just not tru. pretty much every nba great won championships with another all star teammate. only ones i can think of is hakeem and dirk. everyone needed help
Lakers didn't even need Drummond they just signed him because they were worried about the Nets. All year laker fans kept saying "all of this just to beat a 36 year old" whenever the Nets made moves and in reality all it took was Devin Booker maybe next season they'll worry about themselves instead of worrying about a team from a different conference
those people are the bronsexuals
A 24yo Devin Booker on that matter. He'll never beat a 25yo Mitchell, 27yo Jokic, 27yo Giannis and 29yo Gobert, 30yo Kawhi next season let alone KD and the rest of the Nets. I fairly believe this season is his final chance to win a ring. LeBron ain't what he used to be and his fans need to realize that.
LeBron is gonna go down as one of the most unfairly criticized superstars in history.
Not for someone who is self proclaimed king. It’s natural, what did you expect?
@@99keltin He didn't proclaim himself king, the media did. Google exists, are you too smoothebrained to use it?
@@TheDAWinz I never said he started it. He embraced it before even achieving greatness. Seems like google can’t help you with everything.
@@99keltin yup but embracing was the problem. He hasn't done shit from that time and yet he wasn't humbled enough to back away from it when he knows it's not yet his time. He repeated that same mistake when he nonchalantly said the Heat will win not 1 but many more championships. MJ was praised when he said in an interview that he's not the GOAT. He just let his game do the talking. That's why people subconsciously wanted him more to be the GOAT. that's how you use reverse psychology on people. LeBron on the other hand can't keep his pants on for most of the time and that's why he's always getting criticized when he can't get the job done.
The consideration beat in the back 🔥
Yeah I get your points, and yes the Bronsexuals make the chill Lebron fans look bad, so much
Also Lebron’s legacy was already set before this series, like he’s not my goat, but for a lot of people he was either already their goat, or in their top 5, one series shouldn’t change that
Yeah people should be aloud to have their own opinions with out being bullied
@@Oz-lf8xs facts 💯
Injuries always take the fun away from sports 🤦🏾♂️
Bbuuttt I thought Lebum said a storm ⛈ was coming 🤣🤣🤣
They had 3 months off before the bubble, they make millions to play
