- Minecraft PROTECT THE CHICKEN... I have to take a CHICKEN to beat the ender dragon. My friend has to stop me. Should be easy right?

This video is a different Minecraft challenge concept that we have never done before! It's similar to Minecraft Manhunt, in that I have to beat the game while George tries to hunt the CHICKEN, instead of me. The chicken heals over time like a player, and has 20 hearts.
It's a race, and it's super intense and we had a lot of laughs. I love doing these challenges.
Not Minecraft, But Water Rises or Minecraft, But Lava Rises, or any other but challenge like that. This is a speed run / speed runner of Minecraft against a killer / assassin

IK fans are gonna bug you about more manhunt 6 hunter, but lets take a moment to appreciate this video's concept. I think it was done really well, the Chicken gave you disadvantages and advantages that totally changed the dynamic. I'd love to see a Chicken rematch with George. I'm curious how effective just putting the chicken in an obsidian cube and defending it would be, it would be kinda like bed wars strategies without the death pits.
Well the point was defeating the ender dragon before the chicken dies. So just putting it in a box doesn't help the goal and also wouldn't stop it from getting killed later when the hunter(s) inevitably end up with diamonds

If Dream doesn’t feel like doing a massive manhunt with multiple hunters, I’d even appreciate more renditions of this video, but with different animals. Like, what if he had to protect a horse the entire time? Advantage is he gets a speed advantage on the horse. But since the horse is such a big mob in Minecraft, it would be harder to dig down in a hole like dream tends to do. Love the addition of the chicken!

I like interesting challenges like this that actually change up the gameplay from normal PVP action; you get advantages and disadvantages, and the game technically doesn't (immediately) end at a death screen. As someone else said, doing this with something like a Horse would also be pretty interesting to watch.

Honestly same. At this point, adding another hunter wouldn't change much to the manhunt dynamic. Going from one hunter to two hunters was exciting since the hunters could multitask while chasing Dream, going from four hunters to five hunters was just "oh, there's one more person chasing Dream now."
And I get there's the aspect of friends having fun together, but it doesn't have to be limited to just Manhunts.
The thing that made the manhunts popular wasn't just the hunters or the gameplay or whatever; it was the prospect of seeing so many great friends play together and doing such a hard challenge. They're constantly making jokes and stuff and it's a lot of fun. I also think the manhunts were the first thing Dream ever made that showed off his friends' talents and not just his.

Also, I like this type of manhunt. A VIP protection detail manhunt. You should do a 5v2 person manhunt but you're a bodyguard and the person you're protecting can't fight, carry, or do anything except follow you and be provided protection, mobility, and food.

Dream I just want to say this new manhunt idea is absolutely fantastic!! I love this refreshing idea of “protect the president” type of challenge and how both you and George play styles have changed with this very small but massive change in the challenge. The unorthodox movement of the chicken, the difficulty of farming but also being on the lookout for both George/ chicken made me always on the edge of my seat with anxiousness not knowing if George would be there to jump you, the chicken, or plan something totally different( like waiting at the nether portal and instead of taking the 1v1 he realizes the chicken isn’t there and instead goes back into the nether and finds your chickens hiding spot) There are so many open ideas to this challenge and I hope to see more in the future and hope you don’t listen to the haters in the comments that suggest different ❤ I hope to see this as a future series and will love every video that does come out of it if you are willing to play a rematch.

I loved how this video had a lot of features of previous manhunts, particularly the older ones. Swords for PVP, Hunter not being focused, and the ability to track being a bit wonky are all things you can notice about this. Really hope this becomes a series!

A future manhunt strategy: go up a jungle tree by the vines, wait till they are chasing you, going up the vines halfway and break the top vine, making them fall and also drop some TNT in them afterwards. ( also can fishing rod them as their only choice will be to tower up, forcing them to look down.😊

It would be difficult to come up with new stunts though especially considering how many other RUclipsrs picked up the manhunt mantle and used up so many stunts. And Dream needs new stunts and plays to keep viewer retention otherwise it’s better to just do new videos that aren’t vanilla manhunt because after 6 hunters, people would expect a rematch and it would get boring and repetitive again like the 4 hunters series and especially the 5 hunters series. I still hope he does it though. Hopefully just one time and no stereotypical rematches or finales afterwards.
wydm stunts? like strategies? it won't be hard at all, there are discoveries almost daily on reddit and other sites. and you say that manhunt with 4 and 5 hunters was repetitive? why are you speaking for the general audience when you're clearly in the minority here. and why wouldn't he do rematches and finales? They bring in more viewers and money. You need to understand how youtube works more before you start to generalize and make claims that only apply to a small minority of people.@@jasonsenter1646
