Keep strong man. The blackout overtrading is a crazy phenomena and just like any other emotional trading mistakes can always sprout up. Best I've heard as a solution for this is a shot clock. So no matter if you close a profitable trade or a non-profiting trade, close it out or get away from the computer to not place another trade. Helps tame impulsivity in the markets. Still working on that one myself, tbh lol.
lol very insightful. I’ll need to implement that myself. Getting better and I think making less frequent mistakes but maybe because I’m taking less frequent trades lol
what is your opinion about prop firm funded accounts? i wanna learn more about them from people who have been doing it for months.. is it a given to blow some of them before seeing any profits?
Yes, almost certainly you will blow multiple account before any payouts. Very few people actually make it to payouts. With that said, if you have enough money to do this, using prop firms to learn to trade is not a bad idea because you’re not risking your personal account money, just a small monthly fee. It also helps simulate the emotions you will experience on a live account better. Otherwise, if you don’t have the money, just paper trade until you are much more confident
IM IN A GLASS CASE OF EMOTION!
