    This is the 1st Vid of 'My Weight Loss Journey' and it's the process/proof of my weight loss.There will be the 2nd Video which is the explanation where I tell you the story from the beginning (when did I started getting fat) until the end of my weight loss journey. I will also explain some details of the successful weight loss plan like what I eat, how I workout and more so be sure to check it out!! :))

    I am a 16 years old (04 liner) teenager, and I have a very slow metabolism. I am overweight (and obese once) in most of the time in my life.I tried to lose weight ALL the time but none of my plans worked well.I only lost up to 4 or 5 kgs then I gained all my weight back. I finally lose a lot of weight in this journey and didn't gain ALL of the weight back. This video shows the process of how I lost 20kg in just 5 months and 29 days as a teenager NATURALLY (no gym, no supplements) in just a short period.

    Dancing is also one of my hobbies. I really wanted to post kpop dance covers on youtube since I was little lol but I'm just not confident enough to post it on youtube as a dance cover. So I would only show you my dances in my vlogs, or other videos such as this. This is not a dance cover video, this is a weight loss video but I just use the dance videos so you can CLEARLY see how much my body changed through the weeks :)

    UPDATE : I won't post dance videos on my tiktok [YENNIE'S DANCE PRACTICE DIARY] (@/yenniemin) anymore for some reasons, but I still learn dances and record them just for myself to see it.
    From now, if I wanted to post my dance video, I'll just show you my dances through *proper* real 'dance cover' on youtube just like I did with Wannabe & Given-Taken.

    Y’all want to lose weight? Learn I can’t stop me. And don’t just learn it, do it until you REALLY know it and then perform it over and over again. It works ALL muscles 💀 I’ve put off learning another twice routine bc of how bad it killed me

      I swear hahahha like I'm a dancer for years now (ballroom and latin) and I'm really strong, like I don't need diets and stuff anymore. But when I learned I can't stop me (the entire song) I questioned everything hahahah. Same btw with Black Mamba. The first time I tried I thought about calling my doc to sign me up early for knee surgery hahahha

      @@forzaynablol9548 it's because everyone's body type is different so it takes time. I will suggest you to do dances with more footwork in it. I'm also trying to lose weight and it helps also don't compare your results with others and try to avoid snacks and carbs. And most importantly don't starve yourself it can cause harm to you. Lastly just start loving yourself.

      @@sakshipatil8937 oh no the carbs is not a good thing, you need carbs for energy i remember restricting carbs so much that i felt no energy while doing anything at all, its just that too many carbs isn't good just eat them in a healthy amount for some energy throughout the day

    wow seeing this, i understand how kpop idols and just dancers in general lose a lot of weight or are not "thick". it seems impossible to be at a considerably "normal" weight when you dance for 3-6 hours a day, practice singing, and extra workouts. kpop idols live a hard life :C

      I really feel sorry for the kpop idols. They are judged by everyone who don't even know what they go through. They are better than potato coaches like me 😱, but I've got the freedom to be whoever/whatever.
      I wish they get freedom to express themselves , date whoever, weigh whatever and just feel free.
      I wish that for them.

      I don't think they just dance for 3-4 hours. I think at least 9 hours, and during promotions maybe even over 15 hours. That's why kpop idols usually lose a lot of weight during promotions.

    the thing that i somewhat noticed when it comes to weightloss is that the most comfortable technique you will find even though that kind of technique seems not possible but it is comfy and you find yourself happy with it..and then suddenly you are already losing weight. For some reason, weight loss is not just about having a consistent routine but also for you to find comfort of it, to find love just by pursuing it. And thats how you will notice changes.

      true because this is actually what happened to me. When you stop focusing on it too much and you just do it it feels much better than stressing about everything and you just end up finding things. I’m trying to use this advice plus my past experiences to get back on track, good luck to anyone else :)

    Tips for weight loss:
    - eat 5 small meals a day instead of 3 big meals a day (helps with metabolism)
    - before you eat, drink a lot of water or tea so u will feel fuller and it'll be easier to eat less
    - work out at least an hour a day
    - don't overwork yourself, listen to your body
    - add more plants into your meals
    - avoid snacks outside of your meals
    - (most importantly) love yourself, you will get your dream weight

    As a someone in her mid 20s who enjoys dancing to kpop and who has lost weight from doing so, i just wanna say to every young person in this comment section: please do not engage in behaviors that will hurt you and your health in the long run. It is hard sometimes to lose weight when you're a teen (say 11-16) and especially if you're a girl due to all the hormonal changes. Don't go on extreme diets or overwork yourself, there is no rush. Try not to compare yourself to other people. It will make you feel bad and it's simply not worth it. When it comes to dancing, it is an extremely fun activity to engage in as a workout. Just be patient and consistent with it and you'll see results! Also, remember to drink tons of water and try not to eat too much processed foods and you should be good to go.
    And to OP, congratulations on reaching your goal ~ Unfortunately sometimes weight loss is a turbulent ride but I hope you've found a balance on your rutine, eating habits and overall that makes you feel great. It's also very pleasant to see how you kept getting better and better. It made me smile how happy you look in some of the videos, i wish you the best if you continue to pursue dancing! 🤍

    note: to anyone trying to diet, please don't starve yourself or push yourself too hard. Its heartbreaking to see people diet themselves until they're starving and not eating anything for days just to reach their ideal body. As a 13 year old, I'm 163cm and 42kg. I'm definetly underweight and I've always been. Idk why but ever since when I was born, my ribs would stick out. I know Im not in the position to judge people who want to loose weight but please don't push yourself that hard. Be comfortable in your own body :)

      When I read the part that I shouldn't push myself too hard I literally though of doing my exercise twice without a break. Cause doing it once is 30 mins with NO BREAKS at all and I do that everyday. If I were to do it twice it would be 1 hour without breaks, sounds pretty good to me. Btw I'm 14 ;)

    this genuinely made me cry oh my god. weight is something i've always struggled with so being able to watch your entire journey is motivating me to do the same. i've never really brought up going on a diet, or losing weight to my parents but i feel like i'm ready.     I'm 154 and it's a lot harder for short people to loose weight so this rlly gave me hope. I've also struggled with an ED and it's amazing to see how you got happier and didn't depend on weight for that!

      Oh no it's not about the height. I'm like 172 CM tall and was 75kg . It is indeed so hard to lose weight. I've been trying to lose weight since like i can remember. Nothing worked so far. But after watching this video I started dancing. I danced to as if it's your last for 1 week 5 times and lost 3 kg. Now I'm 73 . Still fighting. My goal is 55 kg. Wish me luck.

    from starving your self to now eating healthy and not starving, and not pushing your self too hard from week 5

      @@losteuphorian3249 i personally dance until i ran out of breath, like 40 minutes or 1 hour sometimes even 2 hours, it depends on how much calories i want to burn.
      You should start gradually and add 10 minutes every week.

    This is the first video I watched that actually motivated me to work and lose weight. In the first week, I lost 5kg and I was shocked, I couldn't believe it. I followed your routines and the diet/no diet days. I've tried losing weight so many times and now this is finally the first time its actually working. I'm on my 4th week and I've been maintaining my weight. I really want to thank you Yennie for pushing me to my limits and giving me factual tips on how to lose weight.     the way she improved so much in just a month of dancing is really motivating. I used to dance when I was in gradeschool until highschool. I stopped dancing before going to college. I used to dance hip-hop, contemporary/lyrical jazz/interpretative. I got hooked into kpop last year and they really made me wanna dance again so I decided to get back on track and re-learn and start dancing again. Good luck to us!!! 💜✨

    This video right here actually motivated me back then around quarantine I started learning new kpop dances just like her and i believe i was around 126 lbs going to 130lbs which worried me a-bit bc i noticed i was eating a lot and especially when im a 4’11 ft person and since now i literally kept it going until now and i am proud to say i actually did lost weight and now I weight around 113 lbs going to my senior year in High School and im really proud on what i had achieved and props to her video she was my motivation on keep moving (so dancing to kpop dances is an easy way to lose weight)

    Ok so I'm gonna try to lose some weight by dancing kpop too. I also want to say that I practice artistic gymnastics 3 times a week, 1h each session. I also heard someone saying that they danced hylt 11 times per day and lost 7-8 kg in 2 weeks so I'm gonna try that too. The dances that I'm going to dance are: I'm not cool, ladida, hylt, ktl, bon bon chocolat, wannabe, and I'm probably going to learn tail. I will edit this comment and let u know my evolution

      seana gomez i think since Nov. But im not really strict on my food. I usually do Intermittent fasting+deficit calorie on weekdays only. On weekend i love to cook and i eat more🤣. So my weight loss quite slow but im okay since im happy with the progress❤️

    This is a really good idea, I’m so happy for you!! A new dance a week is a great way to learn. Since I don’t have much time I’m trying to Invest just 30 mins a day and hopefully by this summer I’ll be down 10kg which is my goal!

      @@sherylcai5349 please do warm up and cool down exercises before and after, respectively, practicing. muscles get sore because you overwork your muscles immediately. if the sore continues please apply cold compress or perform ice massage.

    I've been watching adults loosing weight by kpop choreograpies and I've been doubting myself that will it work for me or not. I've never ever (I swear)seen a teenager lose weight by kpop dances.     if you’re struggling to keep going like you’re losing hope and you cant just see the numbers going down just keep in mind that no matter how hard it is now but at the end you’ll just stare at your reflection and be amazed by how you did it.
    (if you keep losing motivation do this, buy a dress or borrow a dress that can barely fit you and every end of the week you take a picture wearing it. that will serve as a reminder that every week you’re progressing.)

    this is really impressive omg, I've been sad lately because I keep on gaining weight due to recovering from an eating disorder. I am between 43-45 kg but before I was lower so my tip is yo-yo dieting is never the key to happiness. You can eat that bowl of rice and still lose weight

    Dont push yourself sweetie, i heard the more overweight you are, the more you lose, so since you’re getting thinner, it’ll be harder n harder to loss the extra few weights. Im starting too, by dancing! Hope i get good results too you gave me lots of hope ☺️💜

    You're dedication to lose weight is amazing! It took me 3 years to lose 11 kgs because I wanted to take things slow and not rush my weight loss (although I was a bit lazy back then. 😂) I started at 61 kgs at the age of 16 to 50 kgs at the age of 19. I'm still trying to lose a bit more of my weight and seeing your weight loss journey inspired me to go dancing to Kpop instead as an alternative! I hope you do well in maintaing your weight from now on! ❤️🌼

      aww thank you so much!! ^^ I really love to dance, so it doesn't stress me that much compared to doing exercises for losing weight. It depends, it's never the same everyday it's like sometimes I repeatedly danced to 5 songs until 3 hours sometimes I just dance once for every song but there's about 32 kpop songs in the playlist.     HEEEYY this video really motivated me. I was 64.5kg (1.63cm) at the beginning of the year, and I've managed to lose 5.6kg so far (58.9kg at last weigh-in), and I'm kinda recording my progress to maybe post it someday (who knows?). My goal is 55Kg (and if I reach it easily I will change to 54kg). THANK YOU SO MUCH I LOVE YOUUUUU!

    I’m 14 and 145lbs I have been trying to lose weight for a LONG time now and I’ve always danced to kpop and it helps lose weight sometimes but I should definitely change my unhealthy diet and habits. I should also do ab workouts and such, I’ve been insulted so many times and called a “menace to society” I’m tired of being fat and ready to lose weight 😭 kpop and seeing other people’s progress has really pushed me to want to lose weight. I hope I can do it this time without fail :)

    3:41 i also wanted to jog so i decided to ask my sister to take me with her. at first, she didn't like it but somehow i convinced. we started to jog together and on the third day, she left me in the park. and me, who is bad at directions didn't move a step from there and waited till evening for my parents to pick me up. so i just jog at one place at my house
