$5 in Chiang Mai? You're living like a king 😄. Lovely weather from November through to late Feb. We always stay on the other side at Astra suites, which I highly recommend, but it's probably 5K to the start of the Temple hill, so good for a warm up, and a nice run through the town centre. Do you take your bike around the world, or hire one each time?

$1 in the red songthaews from top temple to CMU gates! I always travel with my bike, although it's very easy to rent a bike now in Chiang Mai. Nimman is a good area to live, a bit busy for me, and another 1km to the mountain.

How did you manage your job while moving away and spending so much time training? Remote in 2013? Or were you already full time running when you moved to Grenada?

By this point I was full time.

Chiang Mai has issues with flooding in the rainy season and toxic air quality in the burning season. On the other hand Barcelona has hundreds of kilometers of world class trails only a 15 minute train ride up the mountain from Pl Catalunya, cost is around 2 euros.

Chiang Mai is far superior than Barcelona from November to March, as I said in the video.
