Hints for this fight: shoot the two flame items floating around Sanctus to stop them in the air. Nero can then use the Devil Bringer to pull himself off the ground and closer to Sanctus for aerial attacks. Once you break Sanctus's shield, you can get in a full combo of sword attacks and follow it up with a Devil Bringer attack. Before using the Devil Bringer, pop your Devil Trigger for even more damage. While in Devil Trigger form, rapidly hit both buttons for the Devil Bringer and to fire your gun. You will get in maximum hits and fire off missile shards for even more damage. When Sanctus vanishes back in to the Savior, it is possible with very, very precise timing to hit the Devil Bringer on the Savior's fist and knock it back. This will force Sanctus back in to the open so you can beat him up some more. This last attack is rare and not often seen as many players can deplete Sanctus's health before it happens.

Kinda wish we got more scenes with Credo and Nero to flesh out their relationship more , like i see what they going for with his character and it still kinda works i think a few more scenes would have made his death more impactful

i think also Credo becoming a devil arm would have been nice, (sure he is not a true demon) but it could symbolise Credo's good intentions and prompt Nero to not dislike his demonic side and start to accept it

Also, with proper timing, you can use the Buster/Devil Buster to uppercut the Savior's fist as it punches toward the ground (but not after it hits the floor), knocking the Savior off-balance and launching Sanctus out to stagger on the floor with no shield or defense.

yes, basically Nero is son of Vergil, & grandson of Sparda, so Nero carry the bloof of Sparda too

If their was ever a game for Sparta to make an appearance it would have been DMC4. Gets a looked and the half assed replicate of him self and get reconnect with his son and meat his grandson.

I just got to this boss, been a while since I played DMC4. Was wondering if I was missing something, but it seems like Sanctus is just annoyingly evasive. The amount of stuff you had to go through until you got his last bit of health... wow.

Is it just me, or is this basically the Father Balder boss fight followed by the Jubileus boss fight from Bayonetta. I can't be the only one who sees the similarities.
