I don't think Agencies are redundant at all, but It feels like everyone's opened their eyes that Agencies aren't the end all be all any more. You don't *have* to go to an Agency to prove you "made it" anymore, especially if the agency treats you like garbage. So Agencies gotta earn their own keep now instead of coasting on "Vtuber = easy money"
@@NexusVFD This is the ideal but in order for it to be fair, full IP ownership just has to become the industry standard. The corpos having full ownership of years worth of a creators content as well as their very name and image is basically holding them hostage. They're forced to just hope they're fans are dedicated enough to follow them when it's time to step away since they're strictly banned from taking anything with them or even mentioning who they were
It's really interesting watching the vtuber community basically speedrun through what RUclipsrs went through during their initial rise. Everyone used to be in an agency until that industry imploded.
This happens with all new "industry bubbles" that crop up. Especially prevalent in the technology sphere. The esports scene is another example. You get a lot of over-promising startups popping up, bringing in a lot of predatory venture capitalist investment groups, and with all that money flow you also get a fair share of scammers and shady individuals trying to get their own cut. Then after a couple years, the money flow starts to dry up and the bubble bursts. The large enough organizations can usually stick around, but the small ones die off leaving the workers (staff, talents, etc.) shit out of luck.
I hope in light of all this sadness with companies. It inspires people to work hard as indies kinda like how regular creators do it with RUclips back in the day. I think also more friend groups are going to boom in the next year and its already proven to work out for many indies.
It’s so sad that before agencies were seen as a way to jumpstart your career. Now agencies seem to just want those who are already successful. So by the time you get on their radar, you could be fine on your own.
That doesn't seem quite right, even for the big agencies. The thing they want isn't previous success, it's the _potential_ for success. They'll take someone who has the skills, but not the audience, and make them into a star. And that's how it's been _at least_ since the pandemic VTuber boom.
To be honest it's the only way an agency can actually survive. they need a constant flow on money to keep the lights on. if you hire a smaller talent they better have the skills necessary as well as the personality, they need a solid marketing strategy to grow, based on the systems in existence. If not it doesnt matter how well they mesh, they won't grow and get you the money necessary. My current theory is that if either Vshojo or Phase become profitable, they will go public out of necessity in order to pay back any investors, if they are unable to they will go bankrupt.
@@EndoftheBeginning17 phase is fine AFAIK. They have in-house merch (coffee) for their talents. As long as coffee sales are profitable enough and cost/expenditure being kept manageable, their finance might be good.
@@Masitu0031On that note, I have heard some say phase connect has gone "in the black" (meaning they're operating outside of debt) which definitely helps with good commerce sales and in-house operation, but I have no confirmation if that's true or fan speculation. I need a financial report/interview for that. But yeah, Phase Connect's doing good. Plus there's virtually no world Sakana goes public when you got multiple different talents publicly saying they'd leave your company if you made that move.
Hey, I'm the dude who made the list at 22:05! I'd just like to clarify a few things. This list is CERTAINLY higher than 20 in reality, this is just a list of ones I could remember. There are almost certainly MORE THAN THIS. I know that the only JP-only agency on my list is Voice-Ore, but I vaguely remember at least one more JP-only agency shutting down this year. I made this tweet when I saw Bao make a tweet where she said something about Virtux being the 20th agency to shut down this year. Out of curiosity, I counted the number of recent agency shutdowns on a list I had made and came up with 19. So I searched around for a 20th and posted that list since I thought that was funny. Also, I defined this list as "companies that announced that they were ceasing to function as a vtuber agency in 2024, with the announcement being made in 2024". This is AkioAir is on this list despite losing all their talents in 2023, and why NEXAS is on this list despite the fact that they are going to continue operations until January 2025. Also, Entertainment is on the list despite still operating as a merch company. I've bought stuff from them after they ceased to operate as an agency, and I highly recommend their stuff! EDIT: Also, AuroraLiveVR doesn't belong on the list. The only remaining talent in AuroraLiveVR was told AFTER I made my list that the EN branch's closure was only temporary. ALVR EN's official twitter hasn't even announced that they were shutting down, despite the final talent's request for an announcement. Regardless of this, AuroraLiveVR's CN branch continues to operate.
The startup small corpos that fail are essentially trying to mimic the vibe of holo or some other agency. But for a potential vtuber fan, what's the point of watching these agencies when holo exists? The newer corpos/branches that pop off are the ones that develop their own brands or niches. For example, First stage production's EN branch is fully male vtubers, and VAllure is the only "lewdtuber" agency.
Starting to see alot of similarities in Vtubing and the music industry, where companies with power use their influence to acquire talent/producers with promises of resources and opportunities. Then taking what you make by legally having the rights over the creation or subsuming your identity into the brand. The artists and creators involved feel like they have to stay with the ship lest they lose everything they've worked for and the access to the advantages that the company gives them. And you lose those connections and collab opportunities with the friends you made in the company as NDAs and non-solicitation clauses stop you or your former co-workers from collaborating or publicly interacting (though it feels like alot of vtubers speak behind the scenes even with vtubers of other companies. Just the general public never gets to hear of it.). So unless you are in an exceedingly rare circumstance then it is an extreme risk to leave. I expect the largest 2 companies to tough it out through this bubble, as they just have enough resources to tank it, and to learn from it but they're definitely going through the growing pains right now as things adjust. The smaller corpos can't take the hit and keep shuttering.
Holostars EN and JP have always been getting the short end of the stick. While it’s not as scandalous, they just don’t get funding or support. There is literally talk that fans have said they would raise funds for a live show if cover won’t pay for it. Since the lost of shinove, cover has been failing to care for the entire group. We’ve had small victories but they always take them away once the hype dies down. 😢
In my opinion, Doki's graduation was basically everyone's wakeup moment. And also every corpo vtuber having issues with their management and idol, losing all of a wave and two others, holo losing, many livers in such a short time, was in my eyes me not wanting to join a agency until it looks and sounds like it would be better to.
Tbf with Idol most did stay including the entirty of EN gen 2 and Encore with Encore staying being pretty big since all three had pre-existing audiences not tied to Idol. Only one of the departing talents is guaranteed great success (Rin) so clearly for most of the talents staying with Idol into brave was a option they liked
Imo there is no good reason to join an agency besides one of the bigger ones. The vtuber market is oversaturated and the boom is over. Talents are probably better off finding a niche and converting normal non vtubing fans into their audience and growing that way since the large majority of vtuber watchers already watch their established creators. Joining an agency should be a move you make to help grow and cultivate your own exsiting audience instead of attracting a new one.
nah, the Vtuber Agency industry isn't gonna end, some people do work better under a more controlled corporate setting. However i do believe Agencies stopped being the End Goal & became a big jumping off point (which is basically what Idol agencies are supposed to do, so GG Yagoo) is the same as Hotels/taxis/supermarkets not dying because of Airbnb/uber/cornershop. they offer different forms of the same service & people choose what works best for them
These graduations happening one after the other just reminds me of how when someone at work quits, then a lot of other employees start to follow after.
Essentially, like most jobs, there isn't anything wrong with the _idea_ of the agencies themselves. It just comes down to a few very simple questions: Is the boss a greedy jackass? Does the management know what it's doing? Are your co-workers not psychopaths? If anything of these are a the wrong answer you are, to be blunt, completely screwed.
I got into VTubers through Pipkin Pippa and then just as I was starting to spread my view into Phase as a whole Fuura Yuri, one of Pippa's closest friends in Phase and who I was taking an interest in because of her unique voice, got fired. I was just floored. Luckily through the guidance of Lumi's fans I found Yuri's reincarnation, and through the support of Kirsche, Moonshine, and others she is doing really well now even saying she's making more money now that ever before. Despite my still being a fan of her and her discord being the place i'm most active in i still miss "Yuri". I miss all the Phase talents I watch now talking about her, it makes me sad when they do open VC streams that she will never be popping in. Someone just pointed out that in all likelihood it would've been Yuri dancing with Lumi at the VTuber awards. I'd love to see, and will never get to see, what a Yuri/Eimi or Yuri/Dizzy collab would look like. VTubing is really weird, lol.
@@damianxi4133 yeah, the dual facts that it was enough to get fired from Phase but not big enough for any internet weirdo to be able to dig up and reveal is a very strange cross-roads. she had said in the past, i think well before the termination, she has some sort of of bipolar disorder and in her manic episodes she tends to make big mistakes she can't take back and regrets for a long time into the future so i think it was just an accumulation of menhera moments that not even Muumi could fix.
@ it's a really weird spot where whatever she did was enough that what she would have to do to stay was too much and she gave up her identity and connections at Phase [since Dizzy and I think Kevin himself have said that it was a back-and-forth where both sides failed to come to an agreement] but not so bad that there is any evidence antis can post receipts of.
You made really nice content, the emotional, the jokes and memes and everything is explained well, also the segment, and that i can understand well pretty much of what you're saying even though I'm not an English speaker
Hey, I remember your old channel and just wanted to say I'm really proud of you Taledo! So happy to see you happy making Vtuber content now. Merry Christmas my friend ^^
Nophi had one of the coolest designs I've seen and it's a huge waste of so many great models the akioair talents had only for the whole thing to be an awful situation. The girl behind nophi ended up leaving twitter completely due to people only referring to her as the minor from the company taking away from the clear talent she actually had which is sad and maybe if she still loves vtubers and above 18 she might try again. The ip's and models were going up for sale so I don't know if they will ever come into the hands of the talents again but it would be cool if they did go to the girls who still want them.
Doki invented a new way to become an ex-corpo indie and Dooby invented a new way to graduate. You don't need to become a nobody anymore. You don't need to cut off your friends or connections anymore. You don't even need to burn bridges with the corpo you're leaving anymore.
2020 is not just a dark year for us forced to stay indoors for health concerns but also a golden year for streamers as many spent more time watching. So the only way to save those agencies is to have another Pandemic but still it's a double edge sword because Vtubers might get sick or worse die
With Idol it was a case of bad leadership at the top , over-extension for example , luckily for Idol its staff were dedicated and its talents still felt good about Idol despite issues cropping up , for all of the old Ceos issues he did at least build a good relationship with Brave to the point Brave bought Idol. So while Idol had its issues none of them are too serious, and they have a good relationship with there talents. Nikki Rei one of the OGs of Idol is still around through all the changes and Idol feels good enought that its allowing one of there talents to stop streaming entitely and go through a complete rebrand while still allowing them to interact on streams in chat and be part of Idol on the outside while sinply being known as re-dacted .
I dont really feel like Hololive fits this *decline* all that well at the moment, IMO the reason why people might feel that way after a few left is cause wierdly enough leaving/graduating + Hololive somehow feels almost wrong like its not a normal thing, although leaving ones current job to do more or less the same thing at a different place is a thing as normal as can be, but like every member who has left recently/about to leave has had a run of 3+ years at minimum (Chloe 3, Fauna 3, Aqua 6, Ame 4) and thats the ones that chose on their owe to leave, Mel 6, had to cause of the NDA breach and that even though it seems like it wasnt a huge deal they couldnt give any special treatment, and A-chan left due to family health concerns sadly forcing her to make the obvious choice, but all we can do is wait and see what will happen.
Let me tell you Seeing Vreverie fall from the first row seat was both a blessing and a tragedy. You know something was off from before the first graduations popped out, but after that it was just saddening to hears all the girls expressing how much everything went down and how they felt I mean yippe Vrev died, but they could've died sooner, or atoned for their crimes instead of grabbing Nova's money and run into the woods
I guess this video says what I already knew. That the ppl in this industry don't know how buissness works as not wanting to take responsibility. No manning up, which is crazy when u are working in the people buissness
Tiny bubbles are numerous in the beginning soon pop and combine into a few left. The boom is over, now we’re seeing those with the support and funding left surviving. And luck.
Hololive is definitely the most disheartening when it comes to discussing agency downfalls. While they were never perfect, especially around the Taiwan incident, Mel’s stalker, and Aloe’s harassment into graduation, they made it clear that they learned from those mistakes and it’s why everyone loves Hololive more than Nijisanji. Yet this year was where the cracks reemerged way bigger than in the past. Mel’s termination, Aqua, Ame, Chloe, AND FAUNA have/are about to graduate, with Fauna full on leaving without even being an affiliate. They all had “creative differences” as a reason, and Fauna straight up said disagreements with management are why she’s leaving. Altare expressed frustration from the lack of support of the company on stream and is currently on break. What is happening? Edit: My mistake for adding A-Chan here.
Tbf we don't know what is going on in the inside, and with how much they have grown then their will be some disagreements with the direction of the company/ some may not like the restrictions such as game perms.
A-chan had a problem in the family, not with the company itself. I believe Cover was willing to forgive Mel's nda leak, but she chose to be terminated. Not sure if to show no favoritism or what cmiiw. Aqua explained her reason. Ame seems like Coco, creative differences. Chloe? Not too sure. Seems she had bad health problems even before joining. It just got worse while there. The bigger known problems include Ina, Altare, Axel and now Fauna. I'd include Gura if she were more outspoken.
@@Lelmao33 The agency will have priority over everything effecting the talents through the agency. And are going to be seen as responsible, even when something is out of their control. They have a job, and that job includes taking responsibility over the talents.
1:59 Ahh yes~ A tale all too familiar. I remember when I first tripped into the rabbit hole. I saw a thumbnail of an ignorant bunny girl who threw her Netherite sword into lava. I ignorantly clicked. Watched her freak out, had a chuckle or few, and enjoyed the happy ending. Thought I'd just move along like after any other clip. But it was far too late. I had already sunken to the depths without even realizing I'd gotten wet.
This was a good video and very informative! I just started Vtubing days before Vshojo announced auditions this summer. However, I've been in content creation for over a decade. I wanted to give Vtubing a try as a new creative outlet! I did audition for Vshojo but didn't make it, and that's okay! I think I'm just going to focus on being indie for now. I know how to edit and can create my own videos, but I will just be on the slower side getting content out. It's been taking time for me to get my arts, logo, and emotes cohesive, but I'm having a lot of fun having creative control with this new journey!
Your chances of getting into Vshojo is even lower than Holo I think since Vshojo puts a a lot of emphasis on already having connections to Vshojo , they only put out auditions due to pressure and Zen pushing it ( I think she let certain comments get to her)
@@mk_gamíng0609 I did see the comments and responses of that shortly after the contest was announced. Was the more of an unspoken rule or is that what the majority of people will think if the new talent ends up already being mutuals with the current group? I watched a clip of Ironmouse talk about the process encouraging everyone to try back in July, but I also I understand the factor of needing to vibe and get along with everyone as a new talent which makes sense for collabs in the future.
Corpo has always in my eyes been a party only a specific l group of people could take part in and its members share fluffy words about inclusion and friendship and believing in dreams . But if I speak 😂
This might sound harsh but I really think Hololive implicitly self selecting for only one type of creator (idol aspirants who are fine with practically self harming themselves due to the workload, stress, and expectations) is the thing that should be the end of the corporate vtuber experiment. They had their place in the history of the industry and definitely did a lot to make it what it is, but becoming too profit focused and corpo slimy means they're doing the vtuber community more harm than good right now and my biggest hope for the next couple years is more people just walking away and finding new methods of moving vtubing forward
I wanted to pipe in on this as a fan and say that not all agencies are bad. Agencies/corporations are gonna have red flags. But the thing is that some people benefit more from joining one. The issue then becomes finding one with less issues than others. Ontop of that, the state of vtubing in general is as of recently getting impacted. Companies like Hololive are going through motions due to being coerced into situations that make them more vulnerable. Companies like Nijisanji are being exposed daily and either doubling down on their shady actions or putting talents at risk of losing their main source of income. And a lot of indie accounts are being targeted by random shadow bans/mass flags or being harassed severely by those behind the platforms they operate or advertise on. But the thing is that not all are fading away. Some people are fighting it and coming out stronger. Either by leaving corpo life behind and going indy or, in the case of corporations, doing better to improve by listening to criticism rather than ignoring it. Of course this is just 2024. Each new year is a different game altogether. And as fans we have to learn to roll with whatever happens and move on. Cuz at the end of the day these are real people playing characters to entertain fans. They're not entitled to do this forever. Nor do they owe us that dedication.
YES!!! Our king is back! You know the situation is bad when even Hololive is starting to treat their managements poorly. VShojo is basically the only good agency at this point…
@@ThatGreenEyedCat Eh, I wouldn’t say that. They had their fair share of controversies, especially this year *cough* *cough* Kuro doesn’t know not to vague post *cough* *cough* Froot’s document.
@@guilguis4820 Not towards the company, but towards people who brought up that his voice was used during the Nijisanji AR Live. His response to Rima mentioning it was uncalled for, and the harassment and threats she got as well were even more uncalled for. Michi literally told him to shut up and not do that shit anymore.
i feel bad for the vtubers. most join a agency because they are struggling one way or another and the agency knows that and take full advantage. vtubing just suck in general you have only 2 options go to a agency and knowingly be taken advantage of by the company or find out later but can't do anything because the company is the only reason your making it or by on your own and struggle. i just sucks for vtubers.
I personally think more Companies will go the Vshoujo route. Hire established Vtubers and partner up instead of outright owning and creating ip. It's just not worth it since it's a bit of a coin flip. So maybe scouting may go up? Regardless the old model really isn't flexible enough. At least with scouting people it will be able to absorb some good will from those that already have a fanbase. Yes it will create an even bigger divide between Small and large Indie but what else can they do? Even if they improve all the negativity is like a stain that never goes away.
If more went the Vshojo route the space would become smaller and Super cliquey because it would become more about who you know . To get into Vshojo you pretty much need to have pre-existing connections to them
@@mk_gamíng0609 that doesn't fully hold true after the V-shojo Nova release. I looked and learned all of them had little to no connection with the Vshojo group. It may be because Vshojo JP may use a more Japanese approach to attract more JP viewers and get JP content creators to join them.
I'd like to join a corporation if only because I feel they could help me learn new skills that could help me improve as a content creator. Maybe even finish college since that seems to be a common thing some do... Whatever I end up doing I'd love to make it one day and come back as myself and like "Corporations helped me push a wall I couldn't get through myself"
After Prism Project & Production Kawaii 2 of vtuber agencies shutdown but let remaining Streamers to keep their given IP models & lived as "Indies", this trend is getting popular. Not trying to be rude here Am I the only 1 wishing CoverCorp to go down the same path as those 2? Least Kronii & some others working there wouldn't need wait for management to get perms just to get perms to stream of their games they eyed on. This also means a certain "Orange" streamer who now owns it can give perms to certain "Orange" cosplayer to cosplay as a certain Chicken because i believe her management wouldn't let her because how "obvious" it is No mandated 3D Concerts but gonna have to pay on their own pockets or borrow from someone elses personal studio if they want to perform on their own.
It is impossible for Holo to go down The same has those 2 corps especially their IP is something Special I think. If they give their IP some of them can monetize or have problems in revenue because of their corp ip. If you want an example of ex corp ip, there is Tsunderia talent. I heard/read they are having problems in ip. That's why some of them are gone.
It's a simple matter of how much value do agencies add to a VTuber's brand. If an agency isn't boosting a VTuber's sphere of influence for how much they're taking, they don't amount to much. That's why people like Calli and Vox can stay with their agencies because it gives them a big platform as compared to people like Randon or Prof. Lando who only get creatively stifled. I can imagine what's happening in Hololive is just the same old issue where demands are being pushed on the talents and the juice isn't worth the squeeze. Fauna will thrive back in her PL, and so too would Chloe. If ERB signs off, I can bet she'll be back to her old gigs with the Living Tombstone. The mistake most agencies make is overestimating their worth. Talent, effort, and good work ethics stay with the people voicing their models, with or without an agency backing them. Agencies, however, are just hollow organizations filled from top to bottom with talentless people who can only mooch off truly hard-working individuals doing daily streams. Agencies need the talents more than the talents need agencies. If the trade isn't equal between the parties, then breaking off is the best outcome for both of them. The worst thing about agencies is how they don't learn. They're invading a space where creativity and individuality are the driving forces behind a channel's growth, and they try to force their methods into an ecosystem that's already very mature. Just like how we're seeing mainstream media die due to the propaganda-driven monotonous slop they put out, we'll see agencies belly-up in a few years because they can't accept that creative people can get creative and become potential brand risks. No matter how far apart the fandoms try to distance Cover from AnyColor, they're still the same breed of corporate ballsuckers who can't thrive in any other industry. I seriously lost a lot of respect for Yagoo for going public with Cover; I would have rather they announced they went bankrupt than force their talents into a position they didn't want to be in. Plus, them going into China again is just the shit cherry on a turd sundae - not to mention how they treated Chloe and Ina in the recent month. And while I don't watch a lot of Altare because honestly he sounds like he's trying too hard to be a softboi, I am annoyed by what he went through with his equipment getting damaged, sent to Cover for repairs, and getting ignored throughout the ordeal. Fauna's classy for not dumping the reasons why she's leaving, but I can imagine it being on a scale similar if not greater than what Ina, Chloe, and Altare had to go through.
Nijisanji : they imported CCP culture into their business Wactor : never right in the head to begin with. Hololive : went public and put their American HQ in California

Sound scammy... Reminds me of two or more vtuber corp waybacks where the CEO only sits around and waits for a pay check.🤣😂🤣 Balance of support vs profit split and ownership. The more people you have working with you, the more you split, but the less you have to do personally. Generally, corpo may offer the following: Standard Employment Benefits - Corpo VTubers may get normal employment stuffs such as a fixed salary that won't fluctuate with their activity. This means that if, for whatever reason, a corpo VTuber cannot get monetized for a period of time, they still atleast have some income. Asset Investment - Initially atleast, corpos will usually be the ones paying for your model, rigs, assets. Updates and stuff can also be part of the corpo agreements. It also means you're not on the hook for finding and negotiating with artists. Company Backing Garauntee - A lot of companies and individuals may prefer working with corpo over indies as it provide garauntees for how their works are used, if they're payed and credited, etc. Some artists are even known to not work with indies at all. Promotional Support - Focus on your stuff, corpo does the advertising. Personal projects will be out of pocket, but major stuff will be handled by corpo. Collaboration Support - Corpos tends to have better negotiating power in certain areas such as collabs with big companies. music labels, game studios, etc. This stems from the contract being between corporations which is less likely to cause issues than contracts between companies and individuals. Legal Support - Corpos have lawyers on hand to deal with legal issues. Things such as false strikes, defamation handling, broken contracts, etc, will be handled by corpo and not the VTuber themselves. This will probably include legal fees. Growth Support - Dance lessons, singing lessons, etc, can be handled by corpo. Because corpo is also handling a bunch of other stuff, the VTuber might have more time to do these growth activities as well compared to spending time doing everything themselves. Facilities and Tech Support - Large corpos can provide the tech and space necessary for certain projects, activities, etc. A large motion tracking studio, for instance, might not be something accessable to indies on a regular basis, while a corpo might have such a space exclusively to themselves. You already 1/8 in those corp offer especially you only approved not paid in song, what you think in make song or Music video cheaps. 😅😅😅

Old RUclips was definitely a time
This happens with all new "industry bubbles" that crop up. Especially prevalent in the technology sphere. The esports scene is another example. The large enough organizations can usually stick around, but the small ones die off leaving the workers (staff, talents, etc.) shit out of luck.
Perhaps it comes with every new industry, everyone just wanna take advantage of it.
I hope in light of all this sadness with companies. It inspires people to work hard as indies kinda like how regular creators do it with RUclips back in the day. I think also more friend groups are going to boom in the next year and its already proven to work out for many indies.
Hoping the best overall
Vtubing agencies are a good way to jump-start a vtubing career, but the best endgame will still be the one where you own your IP

Aj is everywhere lol.
Nice work, dude.
Thank you once again for doing these videos!
Really great video Taledo!! Banger video as always!

I mean, it is youtube. It makes sense.
seeing hololive in this kind of video feels surreal i just hope 2025 would be a better year for vtubing community
LET'S GO MY GOAT DROPPED!!!!🙏 Merry Christmas to you all and Happy New Year❤️❤️❤️
Holostars EN and JP have always been getting the short end of the stick. 😢
Fun fact: HoloStars JP and EN have never held a proper graduation stream.
Merry Cremas Taledo 🎄
Don't mind me. I'm just here with my coffee, watching indie talent and V-Shojo, and giving all this controversy the side eye. ☕👀
However i do believe Agencies stopped being the End Goal & became a big jumping off point (which is basically what Idol agencies are supposed to do, so GG Yagoo)
is the same as Hotels/taxis/supermarkets not dying because of Airbnb/uber/cornershop. they offer different forms of the same service & people choose what works best for them
These graduations happening one after the other just reminds me of how when someone at work quits, then a lot of other employees start to follow after.
damn the music score for this video was beautiful. props to the composers.
Thank you for always giving us banger videos!
YIPPEEEEE TALEDO UPLOADED!!!! ALSO MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU!!!!!! :DDD
Thanks for the cat break.
22:09 cat break is needed indeed
Til this day people wonder how many contract breaches she'd even done to even cross fishman's line.
Thanks and long time no see! Happy to still receive your support 🙏
Nikki Rei one of the OGs of Idol is still around through all the changes and Idol feels good enought that its allowing one of there talents to stop streaming entitely and go through a complete rebrand while still allowing them to interact on streams in chat and be part of Idol on the outside while sinply being known as re-dacted .
splendid explanation
great video dude!
Let me tell you
Seeing Vreverie fall from the first row seat was both a blessing and a tragedy.
You know something was off from before the first graduations popped out, but after that it was just saddening to hears all the girls expressing how much everything went down and how they felt
I mean yippe Vrev died, but they could've died sooner, or atoned for their crimes instead of grabbing Nova's money and run into the woods
I guess this video says what I already knew. That the ppl in this industry don't know how buissness works as not wanting to take responsibility. No manning up, which is crazy when u are working in the people buissness
Love the video. However. HEY TALEDO CONGRATS ON THE SPONSOOOOOR HOLY FUUUUCK
The brave group part had me cackling
YIPPEE SPONSOR
Tiny bubbles are numerous in the beginning soon pop and combine into a few left. The boom is over, now we’re seeing those with the support and funding left surviving.
And luck.
Meanwhile Phase Connect: WE GOT COFFEE N SUMMER SCARFS!
why did i start crying while watching?
@@grimoireweiss3099Mel didn't choose to be terminated.
you make it sound like all of those issues are all Hololive's fault
@@Lelmao33 The agency will have priority over everything effecting the talents through the agency. And are going to be seen as responsible, even when something is out of their control. They have a job, and that job includes taking responsibility over the talents.
25:17 Smack me over the head if I'm wrong, but wasn't the person hired to play the role of Valeria later picked up by AkioAIR for the role of Nophi?
I don't know if I have to start my Vtuber career with a Vtuber agency or independent

1:59 Ahh yes~
A tale all too familiar.
10:57 I really love James Lee’s stuff, plus it’s funny that you put him here 😅😂

Lilium bgm is hella mega based
Prism was peak
This is irrelevant but i thought i was going crazy thinking that one song is what i think is and i was right its elfen lied.
I kinda wanted to be a vtuber hon....😭😭😭
I kinda think that this was like what the video said😭😭
That speech with Nina... Sounds a lot different now with the unraveling of "Hollywood".

Michi literally told him to shut up and not do that shit anymore.
@@ps4pro668 that has nothing to do with vshojo though.
i feel bad for the vtubers. most join a agency because they are struggling one way or another and the agency knows that and take full advantage. vtubing just suck in general you have only 2 options go to a agency and knowingly be taken advantage of by the company or find out later but can't do anything because the company is the only reason your making it or by on your own and struggle. i just sucks for vtubers.
@@mk_gamíng0609Vshojo Nova says otherwise
Gonna have to soon add pixel link to the list of dead agencies
IDK
i didnt know altare said that omg... i know he's been dealing with depression lately but ;;
I'd like to join a corporation if only because I feel they could help me learn new skills that could help me improve as a content creator. Maybe even finish college since that seems to be a common thing some do...
Whatever I end up doing I'd love to make it one day and come back as myself and like "Corporations helped me push a wall I couldn't get through myself"
Whatever you do or aim for, I wish you best of luck with your future 🔥

After Prism Project & Production Kawaii 2 of vtuber agencies shutdown but let remaining Streamers to keep their given IP models & lived as "Indies", this trend is getting popular.
Not trying to be rude here Am I the only 1 wishing CoverCorp to go down the same path as those 2?
Least Kronii & some others working there wouldn't need wait for management to get perms just to get perms to stream of their games they eyed on.
This also means a certain "Orange" streamer who now owns it can give perms to certain "Orange" cosplayer to cosplay as a certain Chicken because i believe her management wouldn't let her because how "obvious" it is
No mandated 3D Concerts but gonna have to pay on their own pockets or borrow from someone elses personal studio if they want to perform on their own.
Leave Hololive outta this.
The day Hololive go bankrupt its the day i be the happiest in thw world

Balance of support vs profit split and ownership.
The more people you have working with you, the more you split, but the less you have to do personally.
Generally, corpo may offer the following:
Standard Employment Benefits - Corpo VTubers may get normal employment stuffs such as a fixed salary that won't fluctuate with their activity.
