I didn’t think I would have to say this but I obviously didn’t have anything to do with the Revenge parody being swapped with this audio in 2022. CaptainSparklez released a video and explained exactly what happened and why this version exists. If you want more info, that’s where you can find it. For those unaware I made both this remix and the original parody of Revenge. I very much would like the original parody version back up as well. Hope YT can fix it soon.

People will talk about nostalgia and how the original parody song is much better, but as a compositional piece, and it just straight being an original song built from the ground up, with the only ties into the original being the lyrics, this is probably the best Minecraft song out there, parody or not.
Minecraft Everyday (Early Alpha) or Talking About Minecraft (Indev/Indef) are definitely better as original compositions... But they are two of the earliest Minecraft songs ever created, so perhaps it's not exactly a fair comparison.
The nostalgia still makes me prefer the original, but this is quite good.

Eh... I don't think so. It doesn't have the same sort of energy to it. This feels like a background pop song and the other feels like an anthem for Mincerafters. This is coming from someone who heard this version at first... and was blown away once they got to hear the original parody version.
This is honestly all very subjective speculation though. I will say that I think the new version of "TNT" is better than the very, very outdated original. In a way, it's better that this happened because we have both versions to listen to now. That's a plus!

I prefer these new ones. One reason being the tone at the "Again Again" and "Ohhhhhhhh" parts
If this was released as a sequel instead of a replacement, I think it would’ve been a lot more popular, but that didn’t happen.
The first one was the first time I had ever heard of you or captain sparklez, also for this one I think it sounds great but there's nothing like the original. (so much nostalgia)

The biggest surprise that came with this video, had to be the fact that Jordan is the person doing the rap. Revenge 2011 is good but never realized how good this one is, kind of dismissed it for being so different before.
