- A Very Very Short Film is a poignant, silent short film written and directed by Nicolette "Nhik" Shegog. It explores the quiet yet profound journey of a Black woman as she navigates the deep, isolating corridors of grief. Set in a series of intimate, softly lit scenes, the film follows the protagonist through various stages of mourning-from shock and numbness to sorrow and eventual acceptance-all without uttering a single word.
While the world outside continues unaffected, she endures a profound internal battle, underscored by moments of overwhelming emotion when she is alone. A battle that requires time to stop and almost repeat itself for healing.
