I mean the cooking part is great and all, but aren’t we going to talk about the superb filmmaking on this one? The filming and the editing were both insane, you’re getting better by the video man, congrats!
As much as I like Guga videos, this is basically a cash grab for advertising for Heston. I really hope their review was genuine and not just saying something like "they are both great, go check out them out".
I make rotisserie prime rib...so simple and gets a nice bark. Great use for wireless thermometers to track the cook. I always put 2 in...one from each end. If I am making a big one...like 10lb+ I will cut it in half and make two...so I can have 4 end cuts for prime rib burnt end snacks.
Man, that was a great experiment Guga. I wouldn't turn either of them down. I'm gonna guess that the rotisserie roast had more juices? I'm actually surprised it had more charcoal flavor. Those new grills look really cool!!! Merry Christmas to you and the family bro!!! Cheers to y'all!!!!!!!!!
Oh boy, I love prime rib and saw this video this morning and said no, don't watch it till you finish your lunch or you'll be dying. Finished my lunch and watched it, my mouth is watering, thanks guys!
I made an 8 and a half lb. prime rib sous vide the other day and it came out magnificent. I can’t imagine a better way to do it. Especially when you have a flamethrower to finish it with. 6 hours at 131°
Love you Guga, but I'm not sure how many of your subscribers will be wanting to drop $2k on a grill from Everdure... Awesome that you got one as part of the sponsorship tho :)
So the moral of the story is .........use wood in a rotisserie cook instead of briquettes and do it right so you're not simply engulfing the meat in excessive smoke from unlit charcoal/wood. Done properly ... the rotisserie would win hands down.
Guga I have been watching many of your videos on both channels and I gotta say bro :) youve inspired me to grow in the way how I cook steaks and they come out perfectly 😋. You are awesome man can't wait to see more vids :)
The crown of roast pork, lam/mutton, the Thanksgiving showstopper with turkey and ham which is 99.99% guaranteed to be a sure thing. But if you want to see the best of the best you need no look any further than prime rib. And if you’re looking for a great way to do you need no look any further than this awesome video. If this is the last video from either of your channels before the 25th than Merry Christmas and seeing as how it’s the 23rd may you have a Festivus for the rest of us.
DAMN, sponosored by a company owned by heston blumenthal. guga making BIG MOVES, im really proud of you, i've been subbed since 30k so seeing this just excites me lol
Reverse sear is my way to go. Great searing crunchy outer crust. The other option I agree looks so awesome especially if you have placed potatoes under it to collect all the drippings
Guga thank you! I bought a 4rib prime roast 2days ago for christmas and was gonna find some vids on ideas i wanna do....ill start and stop at your vid👌 meryy christmas man
I have been looking at the rotisserie one for a while. What really stops me is that i can only use it when it is nice weather because it doesn't have a lid. I am looking forward to you using it. Have a nice christmas and thank you for this year. It has been a good one. I saved a lot of your recipes and tried quite a few. 👍
Yah, I am sitting here with a Z Grill in my back yard cause of Guga... LOL Anyone else sitting here feeling like the girl Guga dumped after putting him through college! $5K in free grills, psh. Congrats on your success Guga...
Guga needs to start a line of feeding bibs to save his subscribers for all the drool on his videos. 😋😋😋 Merry Christmas Guga and a prosperous New Year!
Guga hello my friend my name is Joao Paulo and I am from Minas Gerais, Belo Horizonte. I came across your RUclips channel and have now I am a die hard fan! you make some amazing delicious cuts of meats that bring me back to Brazil 🇧🇷 I also saw the video of chicken and steak stroganoff, my mom always makes me that dish because it’s my favorite she makes me the chicken one! I now live in Miami I’ve been here for 23 years! Guga you are a great RUclipsr and I would love to try one of those amazing picanha you make. angel is a lucky guy my brother! your channel is great and your attitude is even better. thank you for providing us with this wonderful content! You should open a restaurant Guga that would be amazing
Guga, you always talk about saving your trimmings for burgers. How do you store your trimmings until you use them? Would you make a video about saving your trimmings and also how you use them? Thanks, and keep it up brother!
Ive been a subscriber & viewer for months. I appreciate your showing us your great comparisons & experience, because side by side is the only way to know for sure. That said... please... dude... ditch the " so lets doo-ehhh" catch phrase. Let your realities speak for themselves, You know youre meat, but Ive gotta say.... The "catch phrase" detracts!
Love all of your videos. I definitely prefer a prime rib that has been smoked at least a little bit though, it takes it over the edge. A crust with heavy course ground pepper adds to it too. I hate to admit it as I am not a fan of chain restaurants but Texas Roadhouse has the best prime rib that I have eaten at a restaurant. It will never compare to my smoked for an hour rib roast though .
Guga, I made your porchetta from last video but at the end I ended up shredding everything and make carnitas with a cream, lime and orange drizzle on top. Had the sandwich and just like Angel turned into a Super Saiyan.
Prime rib doesn't come from the grade of beef, but from the 'primal rib' section of beef. They serve prime rib all over the world, and prime grade beef as a USDA distinction
The prime in prime rib is in reference to its location on the animal, between the 5th and 12th ribs. So, no it does not have to be prime grade to be considered prime rib. A common mistake people make. However, as always another great video.
I was going to reply with the same info for Guda... I love this guy but I want to make sure that the facts are correct regarding the different cuts of meat.
Guga! Love your channel, watch every episode. But I was wandering, if we can see a video of you in portugese doing some traditional Brazilian dish (the ultimate coxinhas you made your amazing to watch and my inspiration to make)
Wow! Those grills look pretty impressive; personally, not enterily my style, I rather a more old fashion way ... Nevertheless it looked awesome! Happy holidays Guga, Angel and to all the family! Greetings from Mexico!
There is nothing better, than seeing a new Guga vid after you just finished preparing your food and ready to eat
C0nsequence enjoy your food brother!
This is so true
@@GugaFoods I am still waiting for sous vide pizza🤔😂
Hell. Yeah!
C0nsequence bro this comment so true I had to agree. Been lurking for years

why is this comment doesn"t have so many likes?

It’s weird not seeing the charcoal chimney. It just doesn’t feel like a guga video without. Still a great video
ITSLukexx 1 I hope he sees your comment
yes omg
As much as I like Guga videos, this is basically a cash grab for advertising for Heston. I really hope their review was genuine and not just saying something like "they are both great, go check out them out".
Alan Mak yea I know I’m just saying it doesn’t feel normal as a guga video
@@donny-2964 you're right, it's not a normal Guga video.

You know is good when Guga laughs in that particular way after tasting it.
It's just amazing when he does it
Man, that was a great experiment Guga.
Thanks brother TRoy. Merry Christmas to you too.

Guga 2019
OMFG HAHAHA
no worries, ill dry brine it overnight, not in a cooling rack, but in a meat pocket that smells like fish ;)
That prime rib looks amazing, Guga. Merry Christmas to you and your family, my friend.

Guga Foods well this comment didn't age very well

This was a real chill guga video you guys were so content not talking as much as you normally do. In a good way but I like both

Angel is just ready to eat. Guga clearly appreciates his own efforts and time and really takes it in. Angel just wants to eat lol.
I’m voting for the prime rib on the rotisserie
Beef is where you shine. The juice in the pics as you sliced it tells the story. Great job.
Angel seems like a humble dude you two are always the most enjoyable to watch

I'm already starving and I watch this to make myself even hungrier. Awesome video!
me and my family just had your garlic butter prime rib for Sunday dinner last night and cooking a prime rib sous vide was absolutely amazing
I love watching guga do these adds for meat/equipment. Anyone else?
I do mine with Applewood and Mesquite lump at around 220 degrees. They come out great 👍

I'm sure there's plenty, he has 1.22 mil subs
If it's only 1% of his subs, it is still +/- 12000 people who is gonna buy it, and the transaction would be around +/- 24000000 $
@@DanielHalomoan damn that's true
You can bet that they each picked a different method so that both grills will sell equally
No sane person is gonna buy that gimmicky crap when you can do the same with a $150 Weber.
