Congratulations, Roxy! Chocolate Chip is very cute. It's very interesting to see how temperature is important for digestion to work properly. I learned that recently when I had a pair of pigeons nesting on my balcony and one rainy and rather cold night the babies were alone in the nest - which was weird - so I did some research and, besides what information I was looking for, found out that baby pigeons also need to have a certain body temperature for the digestive system to work. I agree Jami, escape is why I watch all these homesteading/farming channels. I was born and raised in Berlin, Germany - where I still live now. I long to live out in the countryside with a little bit more peace and quiet (aka, not in an almost 4 mill. people city, where everything and everyone is always loud and always busy) I get overwhelmed quite easily with all that's going on, and this hectic city is not helping. Yet, as of now, I have no means to get out and start anew somewhere else. So for now, RUclips has to be enough. Yes, there are things on almost every channel that make me cry - mostly Christmas on yours, lol. I see her being this happy, bouncy, beautiful dog and can't help but wonder how she ended up in the situation you rescued her out off. Jamie showed the gender when she lifted her up and turned her around to show the markings on her head 😂 I try to watch all the videos. Most of them have more to watch than just one thing. Plus, I love seeing the babies even if I already know the secrets of the video.
I do understand those sea legs I was a commercial salmon fisherwoman for about 17 years and we would get off the boat around midnight, maybe 2:00 a.m. and come home jump into the shower, and I would be rocking and rolling until I crashed into bed. And at that point it would be probably another 8 or 10 hours and I'd be back out on the water. So yeah I understand those sea legs.

You carnt over water grass sod aka turf when it's fresh laid the more water you give it the more the roots get which then let's the other ground that the turf is sat on get wet so the roots can take hold
