Because the couch isn’t just a flat color, it has texture, it picks up many colors. I would have gone with the same color. It’s a good base color for the rest of the room to feed off of.

Lester, life is way too short to put so much worry into everything having to be matching!! The bigger factors are whether it was a good price, whether it’s comfortable, if it fits your layout, but most importantly if YOU and JAMI like it. I love it. I think it looks great in that space and would rather my home have a ‘lived-in’ feel instead of a ‘showroom’ feel, if that makes sense. ❤

The color is good. the grey is a nice warm neutral that works with that wall and pulls the mid greys out of the counter and chairs, and that coffee table works great. LOL, the grey works great with Mr Hank too!! Even matches the Skull on the fireplace. Recliners are so comfy, and the ability to plug your phone in while doom scrolling the comments is a bonus. And honestly, as long as Mr Hank approves, whose gonna go against him? He IS the boss. I like that the two of you will be comfortable when you watch TV together and everybody gets a recliner. You did good Lester.
I think your choice is impeccable. A couple throw pillows to pull another colour in will be the top. It is perfect for the space. Good luck with the dogs
If one of the old pieces of the lounge fitted in the corner where you have the dog bed i would of kept a piece for the dogs so it might keep them off the new lounge . Honestly i love the new lounge but have fun keeping the dogs off it.

I think the colour coordinates well brings out the darker colours in the wood wall behind the TV matches, hank perfectly and also pulls out the gray or darker colour in your countertops. Don’t stress she’ll love it.

I think the furniture you picked out is perfect! All of the colors work well together and are very rustic and earthy! The one suggestion I would have is to replace the coffee table and get a really big square table to accommodate both pieces of furniture😊
I'm not good at matching but I think it looks great. Good job, Lester! My former bosses, who were the top dog breeders in the nation for their breeds (they are even in books about their breeds), taught me that life is MUCH easier if you match your clothes and furniture to the color of you dogs.😂😂 I end up with black dogs and/or red/chocolate dogs so it's pretty easy.

I was feeling some kind of way about it. But then I thought about the fact that whenever I bought new furniture I went on my own and bought it. My husband really wasn't interested. And I think Jami feels that way too because of the fact that she hasn't gone out and bought furniture. Most women would have bought new furniture for that space so quick. Lester would have came home and found it furnished. But some women just aren't into decorating like that... Now when he builds her her new home that'll be different. She's going antiquing😅

Proin from the vet works GREAT!! Our older dog had the same problem. The minute she fell asleep she’d pee a little. Just call your vet, I’m sure they know all about it……. Our babies are family and need prescriptions too sometimes……….

I happen to love it, because we had the exact same set! Ours was brown, but it’s very comfortable. Biggest piece of advice, be sure you do keep the dogs off. Not just for the “accidents”, but their nails will wear out the material quickly if you don’t.😊❤
