Thank you! I think Brize 32's main fabric is water resistant material. They don't say " N420p-HT NYLON 6,6 PLAIN WEAVE is water resistant." But I found an official spec chart which I was interested in. 【N420p-HT NYLON 6,6 PLAIN WEAVE】 "100% high tenacity nylon / 100% polyurethane coating This medium weight pack cloth is used for robust pack bodies, high wear areas, and pack suspension construction. Balancing weight with abrasion resistance, this textile offers excellent durability and snow shedding properties. Coated with 1.5oz/yd2 polyurethane." As far as I can see, it's strong against water. Also my pack is repelling water so far. I hope this message can help you. Have a nice weekend! :)
Thank you for telling me your favorite backpack! I didn't know about the "Nike SB RPM"! It looks like a really useful daily pack because I can attach a lot of stuff and a skate board on the outside, and it has a wide U shape zipper!
Thank you for watching my video Joey Wong! This pack's hip belt is too long for me too. But I haven't cut the waist straps yet. You're able to cut it if you really want. But you have to take care about how long the waist belt needs to do the hip belt solution. Especially when you are putting large bottles into the side pocket and so on. So, if you want to try, maybe you can cut the waist straps only around 3 to 5 cm each if you still wanted to use that solution, I think. That's why I haven't cut it yet. Could you catch my meaning? I hope this information can help you.

@@leo1739 I was trying to decide the same thing so did a little research. There are some reviews on the Arc'teryx website which talk about fitting a 15inch laptop in the compartment. There is also a video on youtube which talks about fitting that sized laptop into both the 32L and 25L bags. Hope this helps you!
Usually I put my Brize 32 in the overhead compartment because I use it with the mini hip bag together when I fly somewhere. Also I boarded mini planes (under 100 people) many times with it and even then it fit in the overhead compartment :)

Thank you for commenting with interesting question! I don't have the Black Hole Pack 32L but, I own a Black Hole Cube L, and also I've tried the Black Hole Pack 32 on at a shop few times. This is JUST my opinion though, "The Brize 32 is a Hiking backpack that can also be used for urban scenes". "The Black Hole Pack 32L is an urban pack that can also be used for hiking". I think they have different primary uses. If you take your PC out a lot, you probably need easier access. There is also a similar product to the Black Hole 32L, and It's called the Black Diamond "Black Diamond Creek Transit 32" Well..these packs are great products, so I wanna own all the packs if possible. I hope you can find your ideal backpack!

少し教えていただきたいのですが、このザックを使う場合クローズドセルタイプのマットを外付けすることは可能でしょうか？

画像を張り付けて説明できないためお伝えしづらいのですが、動画内(2:03)で紹介している8㎜のデイジーチェーンの部分に丸ゴムなどを通してバンジーコードなどを作ってあげれば、２つに開いたサーマレスト社のZライトソル レギュラー(183cm)をパック表面に張り付けるようなイメージで縦向きに固定できなくはないです。※ただしデイジーチェーンの長さが約20㎝と比較的短めなこともあり、固定力に関しては工夫次第といったところでしょうか。
またこの方法だとフロントのジッパーを開閉しづらくなる弊害も発生します。
サイドのコンプレッションベルトや雨蓋に挟み込む方法は、ベルトが短すぎるため僕のサーマレストでは外付け不可能でした。
以上から、『マットの固定は可能ですが工夫が必要で、バック単体ではフルサイズのマットは固定できない。』というのが僕からの回答になります。
クローズドセルと言う単語を使いコメントして下さったので、きっと色々知ってる方かな？と思い、僕の回答でもカタカナの多い回答になってしまいました。

バンジーコードで取り付ける場合は、途中にコードロックを組み込んであげると比較的スムーズに脱着できますよ。

撥水加工されていますが、一般の登山用バックパックと同じように雨天時はレインカバーを使用するのがいいと思いますよ！
僕はmont-bellから発売されているジャストフィットカバー35(30〜35L)の旧モデルを携帯していきます。
バックパックは頻繁に買う物ではないので、迷ってしまいますよね。

防水性が気になりますね
防水性ですか....表現が難しいのですが川に水没させてしまうと中身は濡れてしまいます。コップ１杯の水をこぼしてしまったり、短時間の小雨程度であれば今のところ問題なく使用できています。
念のために素材を調べてみたのですが
"100% high tenacity nylon / 100% polyurethane coating Polyurethane coating constructed with tight Oxford plain weave, this tough pack cloth delivers great abrasion resistance, tear strength, and snow/dirt shedding properties. Coated with 1.5 oz/yd2 polyurethane"
との記述を発見しました。防水や撥水とは直接書かれていませんでしたが、
"汚れや雪を落としやすい” ”ポリウレタンコーティング”との記載部分が見つかりました。ご存じかもしれませんが、ポリウレタンコーティングは一般的に登山用のカバンやテントに水をしみこませないようにする加工で使われたりするモノです。
