This video has been tremendously helpful. I bought a new L3902 a few months ago, and the dealer did NOTHING in regards to a walk around orientation. Well done! And thank you.
Thanks man. Haven't been on a tractor in 18 years. Picking up the L4802 in 2 days. These modern tractors have so many more bells and whistles than grandpas old Ford.
Great tutorial Zach. I have the L2501 gear drive with the ag tires. I absolutely love it. I use mine for mowing 100 acres of timber pasture with a 60 inch rotary utter. I also use it for dragging up logs and tree tops for firewood. I had my reservations as to whether or not 25 horsepower would be adequate. It has done above and beyond for me. I seem to be in the minority here when it comes to gear drive vs. hydrostatic. I neede the extra pulling power of the gear drive and I am sorry, but I do not like Kubotas treadle pedal. I also have a Kubota GR 2120 diesel lawn tractor and I love it. I still have my big John Deere lawn tractor that stays hooked on to a lawn vac. I much prefer the twin touch pedals of the John Deere over the treadle pedal. It certainly is not a deal breaker for me but I wish Kubota would offer a choice between the 2 systems. I bet their treadle pedal would be phased out entirely after time. Thanks for sharing this
Awesome tutorial Zach, very informative great Job! I am in the market to purchase my first Tractor ever and am leaning towards the Kubota. You just helped me make up my mind. 👏
Incredible job. Very well done. Maybe I missed it did you mention the sight gauge on the side of the tractor to check hydraulic oil. It's been a while since I've messed with tractors but I thought that was there on the 2501.
I'm looking at replacing my IH2444 40 HP tractor. I will be running a tiller, post hole digger, box scrapper, and brush hog. What would be the best tractor for this on 5 ac. L2502 or the L3902?
Well the number one rule to buying a tractor is get bigger than you think you will need, and the IH2444 weighs a ton more than the L series so I wouldn't recommend going down too much in size. For 5 acres though, a L2502 would be plenty of tractor in my opinion and can still run a 60" tiller, 60" bush hog and a box blade. If you have a ton of hills, or want larger implements then you might want to consider the L3902. Or just go for the middle ground and grab a L3302!
Every 10 hrs is like once a day. And was that all the grease zerks or are there more? Thank you for the information as it will come in handy when my L2502 comes in.
I skipped right over it you are correct! If you depress the 3rd button with the 'P' for 5 seconds, then turn on your PTO, you can get out of the seat with the PTO running, and not have the tractor shut off on you. Great for running wood chippers, wood splitters or other implements you need to stand next to while using.

Excellent video describing how everything works and what to look out for. Much appreciated
I have 30 hours on my L3302, 50 year anniversary edition, I must say that I love this thing. Great video!
This guy is good at explaining all the features of the tractors he sells.

New for 2023 L2502 replaced treadle pedal with separate pedals
Also added floor mats and a few minor changes
On the 3902 manual, can you change gears or directions without stopping the PTO?
Is the forward/reverse shuttle synchronized?

Double check your owner’s manual to make sure there aren’t any more grease fittings, but those are the main ones!
what about the 3rd button on the dash. what does it do.. you talked about the first two and then went on like the 3rd button wasnt there.
