Yeah, Fabio Pignatelli of Goblin. Besides their own film scores, the Goblin band members were session musicians often hired to play on scores by Frizzi, Stelvio Cipriani, Pippo Caruso, and others. Many great films, much great music (even if not always sounding like Goblin).
I really like this Fulci film even though many of his fans hate it.Some say it is hard to follow. The soundtrack and visuals are stunning as ever for Fulci film.He really is one of my fave horror directors/writers
I discovered Fulci while out on a movie hunt in a video store....when they still existed, I always went to the Horror section and saw Gates of Hell AKA City of the Living Dead, "A Zombie flick". I thought to myself, then looked at the back as I normally did when deciding whether to keep it or put it back in the shelf, at the last possible moment I decided not to claim the video, so I left. A few months later while out with friends I came across the same movie but under the title City of the Living Dead, once again I held the VHS in my hands deciding what to do with my find, this time I opted to take it home. I finally got to watching it and was amazed by what I saw, the gore was unlike anything I had seen before. At the end my Wife and others looked at me, "Don't blame me, I didn't know to expect THAT"! Then hooked I sought out more Fulci movies, I always found one just laying around in video stores somewhere. R.I.P. Fulci. Made me proud to be of Italian heritage.
Lucio Fulci turned into a zombie himself, after his death, he is still living among us...!! Thanks to his movies, he will never be forgotten and lives on this way.. - " We will NEVER forget " -
Sounds a bit like Castlevania Music, so Konami, we caught you by stealing.. they didnt copy 1 to 1, but you hear Castlevania style,, everyone who knows the Videogames knows what i mean...
I wrote that Konami stole the idea for their music maybe from this movie, i know better than anyone else that Castlevania came out after this movie,, dont you understand what you are reading, you just waste my fuckin time dude.. you need more sleep , i guess..
probably Frizzi's best score, along with SCORPION WITH TWO TAILS. I also love Zombi 2, though the soundtrack version sucks with that hissing sound that isn't in the movie.
Not one of my favorite Fulci films. Its ok, and has some really neat scenes but it is nothing compared to Fulci's finest moments. Fabio Frizzi's score though.... woah. Absolutely stunning stuff.

One of his most beautiful film scores.
I watched this movie the other day. I really like this track
Learned this song by ear on the guitar! With the right distortion it sounds so eerie and beautiful
wanna hear it!
Hooded Menace play a very heavy doomy version of it, it’s great! Just search for Hooded Menace - theme from Manhattan Baby.
is there a video so we could all apreciate?
clearly no fkkn guitar ANYWHERE IN THIS SOUNDTRACK....... harpsichord yes.....
@@chloedevereaux1801 I translated it to guitar
some really excellent moments in this soundtrack, really surprised me when i watched the film the first time
That bassline tho 😍

He still had the visual eye when he made it 👍

Lovely music here. Very interesting and scary for Halloween theme.😱💀☠️

This predates Castlevania. Both are great.

"Tombs are for the dead".
Pezzo bellissimo. Ma scusate, in copertina c'è un errore (?) Fulzy? Al tempo si translitteravano i nomi?
Possibile. :)

At 6:47 so beautiful melancholy, it would perfectly fit for an old Fulci Zombie Movie ala Beyond or City of the Living Dead
