Pursuit themes in Need for speed never get old. Especially the ones from rivals and Mw 05, it makes this game mode more intense
the theme from payback was best I think
Nah the theme from The Run was the best. The music in general was good. But the intro to it every single time u loaded it was badass, nostalgic, and the best in NFS history by far. However Undercovers was intense too.

I think that, as much as we all enjoy seeing what Most Wanted is, I shall disagree.
In my opinion, there are titles that embrace the tension much better. I may have some examples, yet I enjoy this one in particular.
NFS 2015: Despite the underwhelming performance of the AI employed by the cops in that game, it is simply objective that when the pursuit theme hits, it tells you that you’re in trouble, with a growing rumble along with a tense beat. And, what I like the most, that rumble grows, until it even feels distorted at max heat level, in which the drums grow way more aggressive, giving you a real sense of urgency, or even fear. It is also the simplicity in some of these tracks, with the Pursuit Max track as an exception, that increases this emotion.
The kick drum in it also fucking slaps
Though, I should say that there are also another games that really achieve, but I’m just far too lazy to write a whole bible
@@jetblackvelvet1425 oh yeah dude this is true, NFS 2015 theme made it seem like if you dont stop you're in trouble, and it was great because the main 4 protagonist didn't want to mess with the cops at all. Seeing it as a terrible thing to do

I've learned don't use the emps against racers. They always use the jammer, it's a waste of an emp. I'm surprised no one used it at the end
It's not really a waste, it consumes their jammer too. As you can see towards the end of this race, ZH3k used his emp on the most wanted target and he did not have a jammer to counter it.
And the jammer has another use too apart from countering weapons, it also disables the radar, which can be very useful in the most wanted game mode since it's not a fixed route and the racer can throw the cops off by jamming their radar and then driving into another direction, or switching directions. So the jammer is much more valuable than an EMP, as it is needed for multiple uses.

@@bluenicholasbf2142 Not to mention police always have one EMP more than racers' jammers.
Jammers are not foolproof, though. Their cooldown is slightly longer than EMP cooldown. An attentive cop can keep track of jammer usage and deliver an EMP strike during cooldown.

Plus the cop versions have better accelaration, compared to normal.
@Failure The reason he gets faster speed recovery is because the faster you enter a drift the faster you exit a drift

@@add3i_571 Two things; cop cars have nitrous with a velocity higher than a racer’s car, and drifting with at a low angle turn and straightening out is a fast way of cornering

missed opportunity to skip from reckless driving (orchestral), to high speed cooldown (orchestral), to add to the epicness
but holy shit it the music really picked up after reaching the reckless driving section, in conjunction with the gameplay

I remember one match where I busted all three racers and wrecked two cops by accident. The other cop was wrecked too so it was a 1v1 on the most wanted with both of us at critical. I won that duel. It would have been the ultimate throw had I lost.
I literally just re-downloaded Hot Pursuit yesterday. Still a great game.

@@carlosnathanieljannjusonal4826 correct. All the added anti vehicle weaponry adds weight. Weight management is key is cars capable of 200mph+ (I think it's 400kph) add to that the gear any cop would have. Your adding likely at least 100lbs. It may not seem much, but when you consider that some of these cars, most of its weight comes from the engine, every little bit matters.

I love it when Criterion Games do a rework from the old Hotpursuit 2010 because the old one got too many hackers in it so not playable anymore !
