On one hand, you have a supercar loaded with James Bond countermeasures, a suspension that can survive leaving the asphalt, and a monobody built out of vibranium so it can withstand a head-on collision at over 200mph. On the other hand, the police dispatcher is apparently precognitive and can tell the cops which road you just turned on even though nothing and no one is anywhere near you.
I played this last night at 1am just trying to get a few games on but i kept having so much fun and stayed up till 5am playing this gamemode its so much fun when both teams know what they're doing
This reminds me of something I did a few days ago... Super series hot pursuit, on Mission Beach, me in a police 959, the last racer in a Gallardo Superleggera. I'm down to my final weapon, an EMP, and I'm the only cop for a half mile around. We get to the straight with the little side road just past the gas station. The racer is ahead of me, and I launch the EMP. I'm directly behind the racer, so I don't see the traffic car that he swerves around, and I end up hitting it. Fortunately, the hit was a glancing blow, so it wasn't hard enough to trigger the crash screen. I'm going very slow now, and the Gallardo is already drifting around the corner. The EMP is about to cancel, so I summon the last bit of nitrous I have, flick the car as hard as I can into the corner, and end up sniping the Gallardo, busting the racer and winning the match for the cops.
I have a love hate relationship with emps that can lock through solid obstacles Since I've pulled off some on racers that think they broke off the lock. Fucking great
@@Mazhura_13B I mean if they couldn’t lock on through obstacles it would be bs to randomly get hit by a emp that was targeted on to another racer but you got in the way of it to some to me i’D find it funny af

I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure they changed the engine noise of the Zonda for the remaster. The Zonda had this deep, almost McLaren F1-sounding engine, but then they changed it to a Murcielago with a sore throat.

Imagine if you were playing this and you were using a cop car. And then imagine if all the cars had equal performance and the racers never crashed at all. You would spend the entire race just driving and not making any contact with the racers. Likewise the racers also don't get to feel the satisfaction of really evading the police who are constantly harrassing them. How much fun would you have? That's what this game mode is about, and that's why the police cars are designed to be slightly better than the racer cars.
