Thank you for the interesting, comprehensive tour! I hope to make the 12 day trip either next autumn or in 2025 with my daughter. I will send her a link to your video.
Thank you for your video. I am seriously looking at this cruise. Can you tell me what time in August you sailed, what was the weather generally? also, did you get the drink package? If not, what would one expect to spend for 2-3 drinks a day per person (typically wine/beer)?
I am so glad you enjoyed the video. We cruised the end of August, 2024. The weather was not too cold, maybe if you're out in the evenings on the deck. We were rain coats and puffer jackets mostly. Mix of light sweater weather and mostly wore hats to keep our hair from blowing, not due to the cold. We had some gorgeous sunny days and a few lite rainy ones. I did get the drink package. Alcohol one. But didn't drink enough to pay for it. I had maybe 2 a day. I honestly don't know what they charged for the drinks without the package. I think you would need to have at least 3 per day to break even. Hope this helps!
Thank, we enjoyed Havila recently. We did the same trip in February 2024 on the Cappela, the sister ship. We plan to go with Havila again this autumn or winter.
Yes we did several of their excursions. Sometimes you leave from one port and the excursion bus takes you to meet the ship at the next port. I really enjoyed the Geirangerfjord excursion! You can see on our other videos more about the excursions like North Cape, the RIB boat, hiking etc. Hope they help.
Fabulous video. We’ll be on Havila in February and love the preview you’ve given us as to what to expect.
@annmcg9781 thank you. Feel free to reach out if you have questions.
We're going 20. Feb - maybe we'll see you on board :)
@@astrabrauer8522Yes! We will be on at the same time.😊
What a really great insight into the Havila experience. Off to watch your excursion videos now! Thank you.
@barbararobson2098 thank you and we hope you enjoy the others too!

I am so happy you found it interesting and please let me know if you have any other questions about the cruise.
We did the round trip from Bergen in November 2023 and loved it.
A very useful video thank you. I will be travelling from Bergen to Kirkeness in May next May.
Glad it was helpful! Enjoy your trip!
I’ll be doing the full round trip this November on Havila Castor, so your video came just in time 😁
We hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

Wow, in the winter! Enjoy your traveling!
thanks for the video. Did you do any excursions? I'm trying to figure out how the excursions work with the frequent stops.

It's a ship not a boat.
