This (together with the first run) was very fun to watch. I like how Gardfus decided to abandon the fighter's life altogether after taking a slip on that side kick attempt of his. Poor little fellow wasn't made for the dungeon delving sort - but hey, he was a very honorable lantern bearer (even when faced with the Medusa!) and even got that valuable gem as payback.
After watching the last series end in a TPK, I was super on edge for this entire playthrough. I'm glad it ended in a successful run. Having that cleric really seemed to help. Also, I really appreciate how you describe all your die rolls and the actions you take. I'm legally blind, so when people rely on the camera to convey verything it doesn't help. I easily followed you through th e whole dungeon and had a blast. Thanks again!
just learning the game myself and I looked up some videos to try to learn the basics, so this was very helpful! I liked your 'house' rule of finding a door that lines up to a spot that wasn't originally a door becoming a one way door instead. This was like a mega dungeon, it just kept going! Really enjoyed this play through. Ironically my first 2 games I did just what you did, I rolled randomly for my 4 characters, ended in a TPK in the first dungeon, and then I tried a party that was the 4 that weren't in the first play. It became evident quickly that the cleric is the most essential of the classes, all of the others have a couple different choices to fill that role (warrior/barbarian/dwarf), (wizard/elf), (rogue/halfing)
Another excellent video… 🏆🥇 You really bring this game to life, with your immersive commentary & detailed explanation of everything that you’re doing… All of which takes time to do & also to edit afterwards… Your painstaking efforts are VERY MUCH appreciated! 😎🤝😊
I have to say, I bought this game cause of your play through. I watched the conclusion, but as I was writing this on that vid's comments section my computer blinked, and now I can not find it. I saw that it was a TPK. My understanding of the more than 2 attacks/breath for the boss would be all bites or all breathing. I heard that this game can be downloaded on to a pad, I intend to fond out if this is true. THANKS!!!
I never stop a game, I always continue with terrible game sessions playing them out to the end, it's still a compelling story, even with a loss 😊 and sometimes you pull out the win!
You may roll for XP right after defeating any boss or weird monsters, they do not factor in to your 10 minion encounters that are needed for minion XP rolls. Vermin do not give you any XP unless the mission/supplement specifically specifies so.
Question ...lets say u have 7 goblins,i understand they have 1 attack but does that mean all 7 of them attack once each? Or do they just attack only one time as a group? ty in advance ..love your play throughs btw
Did you roll a level up roll for the final boss? If not, that is the only mistake you made (without correcting) in the video. Excellent job, thumb up. Also, I interpret the Blessing Spell wording to say is it automatically successful. However, the rule in the Cleric description about adding his level to only this spell makes no sense then. So I have to conclude that the is a roll but the target number is not specified. I think is needs to be roll with a target number a 4 (the medusa's level) or a generic 6. With either case, a natural 1 fails. What do you think? Hopefully the other books clarify this.
Ordered this and got it this week due to watching these play throughs. Huge thank you.
That's awesome and a huge compliment, thank you.

I'm extremely happy that you were able to enjoy the videos and will continue to be as descriptive as possible during my new playthorughs.

Great playthrough! I would love to see another one with one of the expansions you mentioned...

Damn. Your maps are so much neater than mine.
I have to draw really, really slow to make them look decent :-)
Played my first session this week a very good game, good video 👍.
Glad you enjoyed it!
4AD just came in the mail!
My copy will arrive in 2 more days. Any advice?
What's impressive is you won, but lost weapons for two of the characters very early on. I might have started over if that happened.

This mad architect must had wasted all their gold on corridors!!! Nine Fungi Folk and only one gold coin among them!! LOL!!!!
Love your dice, where did you get them?
just asking ? do you add the minion and boss encounters up to 10 ? or is it separate . great playthrough sir
Sorry, it has been a long time since I played 4AD, so my memory of the rules is not good enough to give you a definitive answer.

Not a single special feature room!

DannyUzo each one would get an attack. There are rules for who they would target.
